Great showcase, have you considered running 9c Linlin to deal with some of the more aggressive matchups, and add a bit more control in the deck? I’m sure the extra life could also help! Just an idea

I have no tried the linlin card yet but it may be a good option over the rush Kaido. I will need to give it a play test for sure. It's a pretty tight deck list right now. I will give it a try and let ya know how it feels!

Kaido & Linlin will end up being a pitch card a lot of the time. It can be pretty hard to get it down safely. With most match up you need to bait the Gecko Moria cycle a few times you will have to stay pretty healthy before attempting to drop Kaido & Linlin. I find that Shanks/Black Beared/Bonnie is where you can use this card more. A lot of the time you can use it as a big body to swing also and not using the effect.

I ran a build that got smoked, Too many bricks at one point lol, Im always wanting a 10 cost nika luffy, but not all decks work out too well with that.

Sometimes you just brick this will happen with any deck. I found this one to be pretty solid with many lines to ramp. It's been feeling pretty solid and found even a few more lines while editing this video. Will be play testing it this weekend and give it a try in next week online Treasure cups.

I started playing this game trying to run Gear 5 Luffy because just as a character I love Gear 5, but yeah same issue: just doesn't work as well as I'd like. I hope the new build I'm trying out works decently enough for the Treasure Cup this weekend.

9:20 kaido st4 is higher than luffy sec op09 for luffy bp?

The Kiado work well with the leader effect allowing you get a active don and a rested. Also you are able to KO a 6C. This is great to help clear board or even go for game by popping a blocker. This will bring you back to 9 don on your next turn and allow you to drop a 2nd 9c Kaido if you want.

Well, 9C luffy also works with leader effect, you can return as many don as you want (similar to sanji and zoro), and gives you +1 in hand; also I like the 9C black Kaido that trashes 7c and 1 from hand, it helps a lot vs BB which I find to be the hardest mu with this deck

1 counter off from being top 3. Ended up playing vs a leader I faced only once before back from when I started playing in OP04. R/G law. I also lost to the same person back then when I first started the game lol

I find with the amount of cycle in this deck and how tight the deck list currently is 2 is a ton. You normally won't be able to drop more then 2 of them and a lot of the time I almost deck out. So you will be able to find both if you need. The gecko cycle into the rush Kaido is a great line. But a rest/rush 7c Sanji will do the trick most of the time to.

I find that starting 1st is great for most match up. You will want to steal other peoples curvs when ever you can such as going 2nd into B/Y Luffy but you will have a ton of options going 1st or 2nd.

Kaido&Linlin, but no Sabo for the combo?

I have played tested sabo with the navy package. In that build you would want to use more cost reductions using Tsuru and Shirahoshi. It's a very strong build but will get better in OP10 once i get extra support with the new 6c luffy card. In this build we focus more on Straw Hats/Heart Pirates to keep it consistent.

I love the 10c Luffy and played test it a lot but due the Black Beard match up. It just became a dead card. I find that the Kaido & Linlin card was a better option. With your opponent being at 2 life. You are able to attach 10 don to leader for a 15k swing, Then swing Kaido & Linlin Have a full board wipe, heal 1 take 1 of their life bring them to zero and then most of the time will end the game with 12K swing.

Yes sabo effect would stop the board wipe. But it's an when attacking option to do so. If anything it's a big body to attack with or you use the effect once sabo effect is down. This tech is also more for other match ups such as Shanks and Black Beard. Mind you I have used it vs BY Luffy and Lucci before.

I found shanks to be a pretty even match up the Linlin & Kiado was added just for this match. You will want to ramp quickly by finding a Zoro or two and even using 7c Sanji to rest and rush clearing board. Keep their board clear with Gum Gum Lightning and Top Knot. Do Gecko Moria cycle or two. You will want to stay as healthy as you can establishing a block or two and then when they are at 2 life you end the game by dropping Linlin & Kiado. Even if they get a bunch of shanks down the board is wiped, Attach all don to leader for15K swing, take life, heal one then 12k Swing to end the game or take all their counter the match up pretty much ends
