I have been out of the game physically for about 8 years, and i just found out about this deck from the new support that was just announced. I am highly considering picking up this deck. It has the cute vibes of Toons, and it's what i wish Ghostrick were

Welcome back, a lot changed from the past 8 years. I do recommend this deck, it teaches you many useful mechanics, although playing control is a bit hard. The artwork is cute indeed and It's quite cheap too. Also, I would recommend checking out my channel description and joining my new Discord server :)

How do you feel about the Ghostrick package for this deck? Basically it’s run 1-2 shots, 1-2 nights, then 2 dullahan and angel in your extra. This lets you essentially not only lock out your opponents from summoning, you also get to reuse your ghostrick xyzs for link plays. It is a 2-4 main deck splash, but given the amount of searching in this deck, it should be fairly flexible

That's a really good question, personally I'm not so sure about it as they take the place of handtraps or board barkers. This deck already has a good time going first controlling with unicorn, mimighouls and links. So my thought was that I would rather play more handtraps or boradkrabers instead to have a easier time going second. It paid off especially when I lost the die roll. Every time I saw dark ruler or evenly I was glad it wasn't a Ghosttrick. You get me? I hope I explained it right.

Would you prefer going first or second with this build?

I always go first to extra rip with unicorn and set up the recourse loop, the evenly and dark ruler are there in case I lose the die roll, without them and the hand traps this deck would have a hard time going second. If I draw them going first it's fine, they can be used on the creackback or discard for the knightmares. If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask,.

Constructing a mimighoul monarch deck for the Glendale regional this weekend I am hoping I do well enough to prove people dont need an extra deck to be successful

Well I was reading the effects and it seems I can special summon them to my opponents field and have maker or dungeon to proc their effects to return to my field then go in for the tribute summons and domain of the monarchs. In theory it should work well I am building and play testing the deck tonight to see how it runs.

@u.r.a. play tested for about 3 hours last night the deck is so ass the main problem is there not being enough mimighoul names while keeping the deck at an even 40 I may just have to run drytron now. Thanks for the support bro

I personally don't like it that much, I would rather make an I:P to go into S:P or the Knightmare Ghriphon. It's more interruptions this way.

@@u.r.a.banlist looked like predicted so we have to play a different thing than beatrice now. After doing damage report me and some friends found a nice adventure zombie bait list. Not a meta threat but pretty strong boards and difficult to interrupt/ deal with right now ^^ Im still on vacation trying to make the deck work fully, looking good tho!

I respect the dedication. I also tried Zombie Adventure PK in the past and it was quite the popular deck profile. Many people liked it, it might be the same one your friends got their list from lol. I have another rank 6 in mind to replace Beatrice, so who knows, I'm still cooking.

I was making one for subs who joined the glowup bulb tier on KZbin or Patreon. No one joined yet, so I haven't finished the discord. To be fair, I haven't finished setting up the Patreon either 🤣

Have you considered other flip monsters like fire sorcerer or guard dog?

Yes, I've even play tested with them but they are 100% cope. It's not worth it. They are bricks in the hands and if you lose the 50/50 on maker it's gg as they are not mimighouls hence they can't be specialed after maker resolves.
