I honestly don’t mind Asuka losing her streak. But they should of let someone else that really needs the star power to end it. Charlotte (even at that point of her career) was already pretty huge as she won the woman’s championship on several occasions. So what’s even the benefits of her ending the streak when she already accomplished. But what I really don’t like about it is that even tho Asuka would eventually become a grand slam champion, I just feel like WWE just hadn’t booked her as strong as she was back in the day as she pretty much dominated everything in her path in 2016-early 18 (most of her losses were also at times kinda BS such as when she lost the championship just to save Kairie Sane, the way she lost to Becky on Raw, and let’s definitely not talk about how they made her job the championship to Charlotte before WM 35). Hopefully at HIC she turns heel if she loses to Bioanca considering that’s pretty much her saving grace.

You guys forgot one. When Mr. Perfect first joined the WWF in the late 1980’s, they had him go on a lengthy winning streak so that he could boast about having the “perfect record”. I don’t remember exactly how long he stayed undefeated, but it was comparable to Tatanka’s winning streak at least. However it was a little less impressive when you take into account that most of those victories were against jobbers who were never actually going to be given a victory over a star like Mr. Perfect. But his victories against other superstars were pretty impressive, as many of them were former champions themselves, such as Tito Santana, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

Not a one… not a single loss up until that point in the WWE… no weird booking decisions like during an NXT battle royal or something… nope… never happened… … … …What were the thinking by having Asuka be eliminated by Eva Marie (!!!!) of all wrestlers! 😂😂😂 I know the WWE often ignores battle royal eliminations as losses for the purposes of undefeated streaks. Or they will qualify the undefeated streak by saying “undefeated in singles competition” or something like that. But man… I’m still scratching my head about that battle royal elimination by Eve Marie all these years later, lol. I know they were pushing Eva hard at that time in NXT even though she clearly wasn’t ready… and at a certain point they leaned into the fact that she wasn’t ready to intentionally get X-Pac level heat… but still. 😂
