Since I won't post my video of this on top of Saph's video, I will say, if you have level 25 stats you run all 25 stages with this combo in this final build. Stage 1 thru 20 will be manual and then 21 thru 25 should be full auto.

i did my self 2 days ago. Most was manualing. ALl Ninja and godseeker from 15 onward. Was painfull because there was no ratation and nja kept dying when he shouldnbt and god seeker was never dying. It wasnt 100% wins because of crits on 23 or weak hits on red affinity but at some point i got up.

Great video saph! I just wanted to add that if you have god seeker in immortal instead of defiant she will actually not lose any max HP and can essentially take down the boss regardless of what DPS you use (if you don't run into the turn limit). For shits and giggles I tried it with armiger as the DPS and it took about 20 minutes but eventually the boss died and god seeker never ran out of max HP.

Isn't this dungeon overtuned? If someone with such good knowledge of the game, top notch gear and roster is boxed into handful of teams, sets and stats then it is probably over tuned for majority of the player base. I simply don't think even plarium had a very clear solution when they designed this dungeon given the level of game knowledge and testing prowess they have demonstrated in recent times. I appreciate the guide but real question is whether this dungeon needs a rework, while being end game content it shouldn't be so boxed in, seems like a mistake, nowadays they seem to be releasing stuff hoping someone will find solutions

Thanks Saph! I wish you would have mention that this work on all levels. I was skeptical to build (due to cost of changing gear) and i was stuck @ floor 13. I do have a 5 star blessing godseeker (which i was using in CB) which helps immensely for gear reqts. The lower levels you have to manual and revive ninja when the SD goes to sleeps. anyways, this took me from floor 13 to 25, which i now run around 2mins. Thanks again.

My speed below 180 on ninja was failing. He needs to be at least 180. Edit: it’s because I was running giant slayer. GS is strictly prohibited as it procs extra hits on sand devil and can sometimes prematurely wake up the boss before Aniri can use her A2 healing skill.

I built it with Ninja around 170 SPD and it didn't went well. The boss awoke before Ninja's turn. You indeed need 180 SPD on Ninja

Yeah i noticed that aswell tried with ninja at 178 speed failed. I was rebuilding ninja in the afinity breaker set, and didnt fully upgraded his gear since tomorrow is a artifact event. So i tried 1 run at 178 speed. I was planning on making him arround 220+ anyways but still good to make people aware.

You mentioned your turn meter calculator. That's one of the major things the community is missing. We have specialized turn meter calculators for clan boss and Iron Twins, but that's it. I don't know of one for Sand Devil, nor can I find one that is general purpose so I can manually enter an enemy speed. It makes trying to find the right speeds on a team very costly.

A further tip, if you have spare CHs and SS gear, you can use 3CHs in SS to get in 3 max HP nukes and then run as normal when they die

Wow. Mine does 81 turns, but 2:26 seconds! Yours has 83 turns, and is so much faster. Unlimited FPS on a fast PC is crazy.

"unlimited" fps is capped at 240 so your pc doesn't have to anywhere near crazy to get there

I use Artek and Godseeker, farming level 25. He is weak affinity, but still does fine. I dont concern myself with having to many books on Godseeker, I run her at 299 speed. Artek will not die until that one big hit. 3 pairs of Defaint gear helps alot.

I didn't have the 2 set stalwart-ish 15% decrease aoe attack but I managed to get it working with just pumping the stats up. 83k health & 5,7k defense on aniri did the trick with regen + immortal. my runs with aniri and dreng which was my previous combo took 5-6 minute so its nice to get a faster run.. and with food as well.

All well and good seeing teams that can do the high levels of sandevils but how do you get up to those stages if you haven't unlocked all the ones leading to that. This team does not work on the lower stages.

Did you try and just play it on manual? As long as the boss is 1 shotting your DPS you should be fine as long as you manual so that god seeker doesn't revive until after the nuke.

i used godseeker + dreng to carve my way though all the stages just took longer on the magic ones cuz dreng could weak hit and not place the burn but i was have them both fast and anini fully booked, it is not the same as this video, downside with having aniri fully booked is that you cant run food along and risk her waste the revive on food. I also did a 2nd aniri in slow stoneskin for another strategy (using gnut nuke + kymar reset) but i dont have riho which is required for that and lydia/ ramantu doesnt always work, so i just went back to anini + dreng it is slow but at least doesnt waste energy xD

Saph, much respect for this and all your videos. Info I have discovered and want to share. The 1 book fast GS build I run full auto with no setup and has yet to fail. Sicia is the 2nd best champ for stage 25. She does 3 turn HP burn and if she lands the burn gets and extra turn which activates 1 burn. If the boss sleep counter is at 1 or greater he just wakes up and take the 2nd HP burn and then takes a third burn at the start of his A2 before cleansing all debuffs. Ninja is best cause his 3 hitter also activates the burns (so potential to set off 5 burns). Unless I missed a champ, all other burners only do 2 turns of HP burns. Also a 5* preferably 6* Brimstone is equal to 2.5 HP burns worth of damage. So only a fully blessed Sicia could do more potential damage than base Ninja. This is dependant on any burner landing any or all burns.

I would love to use him, the thing is can I use his a2? It will trigger his burns but also puts decrease speed on the boss, so would that mess up anything?

I will look forward to your take on him, once you get him. would be nice to also see some options for just climbing to stage 19 as gear requirements gets quite high. Also why arent you running your referals in parallel. You dont have to be activly playing just collect the daily login to build up energy, shards and epics logins. will make somewhat easier to get that rank 6 champion that can farm brutal

Random thing on Ninja but at 150 speed it wasn't enough; Did you calculate this with the +24 speed from the mastery of 3 dead allies afterwards or due to Aniri being faster than the slowest she could go therefore reviving him sooner into the boss gaining turn meter? I had mine at 175 and he was too slow to get the HP burn out against the boss on Stage 24 with an Aniri at 183+the 24 after

What about Fren'zi the cackler? I just got them during the void event. Seems like a great option. A1 does only have a 50% chance to activate but you lose the weak hit's from Ninja and Cronham and the tankiness from Dreng. I'm going to build the 1 I got and give it a shot. I was using Cronham. But @ 7 minutes a run ill die before I get enough to fully upgrade 1 piece. Supreme Galek would probably be better but he would be harder to get and you'd probably want to build him for Hydra rather than SD.

I run team without food with regular gnut (he dont die until wipe).. aniri got 2 books in revive and at 274 speed boss is able to outrun once so revive is on time for a gnut.. it might fail if boss not apply decrease speed (3% chance?) Around 2min and 55-60 turns

I don't have Ninja, I'm using Fahrakin right now, 130-140 turns but have to change 1 piece of gear on him when doing SD to be quicker because I have him in my CB team. I recently pulled Sicia and the optimizer shows lower (about 10 less) turn count when using her (she gets an extra turn and activates one burn if she puts on the burn) but I have to book her A3, and I don't want to spend leggo books just to use her in Sand Devil. I also have Crohnam, he's partially booked but I have to 6 star him, and make some affinity breaker gear. Also, the optimizer shows at least 220 turns with Crohnam, so I'm not gonna bother with him. Guess until I'm swimming in leggo books, I'll continue using Fahrakin.

From what I have seen if the Sand Devil weak hits your Champion he does around 67 - 69K DMG so every HP under that should still be killed

HI Saph! I'm trying to make this comp work and don't know what is causing it to fail. The run starts perfectly, but when SandDevil gets to about 50% or below health, the team runs out of sync and Aniri doesn't get to take the 4th turn before sand devil does it's Aoe and wipes all. Aniri: - Same masteries as in this video - Speed 186, regen + resilience Ninja: - Clanboss masteries - Speed 227. Otherwise the setup is the same as in this video. Running with food, etc. Is the speed difference of -1/champ causing this?

Hi Saph. Commeting to my own question here...I switched Ninja from Giant Slayer to Warmaster. The comp seem to work now. Did no other changes. Could it be that SandDevil is bugged and the giant slayer procs are actually counted as extra hits, which then wake up the boss too soon? That's the only thing I can think off possibly causing this.

Saph, I know this is an old video, but I think the 150 speed number has to be wrong. I'm using Selinia instead of Ninja with a faster Godseeker and she can't get the burn in time even at stage 20.

My back-of-the envelope calcs suggest that with Godseeker at 187 speed + 24 from spirit haste, the DPS needs to be at or above 198 speed. At the min of 182 + 24 from spirit haste, the DPS needs to be at or above 207 speed. There's a hint in the video that the Ninja is pretty close to the min speed required as the sand devil is at nearly full turn meter when Ninja takes his turn. Note to other viewers - these are pen and paper calculations from me, and have not been verified through any speed algorithm or other testing. If someone is still watching and is interested, feel free to ping me as I'll be testing this further to get my Selinia to the right speed.
