Just got a pair Warfield and grand for my son. Never heard of them before tonight. At the store, sifting through all the new man made junk, then i saw a REAL full leather upper, leather lower, fully stitched out sole , very high quality. Casual shoe with toe cap. Not the same shoe shown here in this video. If I could have gotten another pair in my size I would have. Very good quality for the money. I'll be looking for them from now on! Great video.

Actually, Beckett Simonon usually has some sort of sale going on. Right now, their Silva boot, which is a waterproof Chelsea boot normally $300, is on sale for $189. That's the only boot that's not normally $260. But if you sign up for alerts from them and stick a boot in yr cart and wait, they will usually send you a 20% off email. But quite often, they're on sale for $190. Im pretty sure that's what I paid. They take a few months to get, but its awesome when they show up. I like the more casual boot reviews, I like the work boots too, but I spend all day in them, so seeing different nice boots to wear for something other than work is fun. I want to get some more, but something made here, like Oak Street. Those indigo boots were awesome. I wish I had those. I have enough denim now, so it's time to get something else.

Beckett Simonon is kind of my go-to as far as boots. I don't believe in paying $250+ for heritage brands that overcharge for the name, and I'm not a blue collar worker needing the most durable construction. Beckett Simonon covers all grounds, is affordable, and quality IMO. I'm still rocking my pairs after 4 years. No issues and nice aging.

I own a pair of the Rockfords. They look great and are extremely comfortable. Definitely worth the price even if they are assembled in China.

I bought a couple pairs of Warfield and Grands off of Nordstrom rack around $30 each. Wouldn’t pay too much more than that for them. All the welts/ midsoles/soles/heel stacks were some type of rubber or plastic made to look like leather

I've heard they're trying to expand into the low cost resolable space. Their cemented boots aren't bad for what they are either for what you pay ($60-90 at Nordstrom rack).

Thursday are Goodyear welted and have leather midsoles, and full leather heal stacks. I do not abuse my boots so either one would be fine for me. Both can be resoled. Personally I would pick the boot style I liked better of the two. Goodyear welt is a more robust construction method, but probably similar quality of materials used. Would be fine for wearing around town and as a casual or dress boot.

It’s a legit brand. They’ve been around for years. I have some shoes and boots from them. Great value for the price,:they are finished extremely well for a Chinese made product, and very comfortable.

Why the aversion to China? Honestly, it's such an American cliché at this point. Thursday aren't all that great quality. I've tried 3 pairs and only one was good. Redwing have loads of QC issues. The 4 pair of Chinese boots I own have no issues at all. I've got loake, Sanders and Sanders, Redwing, timberland, Thursdays and Chinese and they stand up to all of the others Have a word with yourself lad. You're boring
