Just found your channel. Love the name. I saw Francis Urquhart's nefarious exploits and demise when it first came to American television. Recently watched it again. He was amazing in everything and is missed. Hope he's enjoying new adventures on the other side.

Apparently this whole series was based on short stories by the great Patricia Highsmith.

Nobody could do a "stare down" quite like Sir Ian. I may be mistaken but wasn't that Anthony Perkins doing the intro? If so, I am surprised he wasn't on the credits. Love British drama.

Thank you for sharing. Don't know why, but this episode puts me in mind of Disney's "Night on Bald Mountain" from Fantasia, except there it was the good souls singing the Ave Maria who heralded a hopeful morning after a night of evil. Richardson and Vaughan good as always. The script, not so much.

I think it is best to remember the Lord's Prayer when it comes to forgiveness! Those with an unforgiving heart will always misuse scripture to bolster their bad attitude, and reap the whirlwind! Not to mention wreaking havok on those around them. Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua.

The son over acts his part. Rather a creep even though it's acting. The background music is creepy and all.

Do you have any footage of news covering his death?

British shows are insufferably long. I don't know why, but they drag them out so long. Like watching paint dry.

Yes, what we need is more Amurican car chases, shootouts, Hollywood bleached teeth, screeching car tyres, stilted dialogue, and the rest. Bound to be an improvement, eh??

Terribly sorry KeepitSimple, We can't help it if you've got the attention span of a gnat.

A reply 5 years later seems appropriate here - the slow pace comes from generations of watching cricket test matches

Like a child, you seem to have a limited attention span. Work on that.
