MyVanir There are speech bubbles, and if you get used to it you can recognize the phrases regardless of the language as it's only two. I understand that it's not the most effective way but it does help a lot if you're struggling to see the weapon (That was my big issue. I've been doing Ex since day 1 and it took me a good few tries before I found out this method instead)

Fun fact. Doom is automatically removed if you go to the opposite color before it kills you but the bleed still hurts. The fans are physical damage so the tank that has physical vuln will die if they get hit. Also if you pay attention to the background for the meteor phase you can see the moon in the background change color as well.

Mr. Happy's strats are usually used by the PF though, since PF casuals think that they are too good for safe strats. If you don't watch his guides, you will either need to debase yourself to ask in PF or will force yourself into arguments about strat.

You weren’t kidding. There are SO many different ways to handle meteors you basically need to ask every single group what their respective strat is. For instance my group placed those meteors way closer to each other than you did to keep dps up while leaving an entire half of the arena safe from explosions.

Heads up, Tsuku's aggro doesn't reset after add phase. The healers gain a ton of threat because they are healing through all the raid wide damage. If you watch the enemy list and you lose aggro (usually during Zenos), a Lucid Dreaming from the threat holder (likely WHM) will give it back. It's a bit weird, but it doesn't completely reset.

I believe it's something slightly different--I've not had time to test it, but I think Zenos' threat gets transferred to Tsuku during the phase change. In my WAR runs I always saved Inner Release for Zenos and, without fail, I had hard, well established aggro going into the next phase.

Your meteor strat is the same one I came up with on day 1 of this fight, I feel somewhat proud! Since then I've done all kinds of other strats but IMO this is one the easiest ones. The moment I shifted both north and south waymarks to a side a little bit it became pretty foolproof even with people who still didn't understand the mech well.

There's also a small triangle meteor placement that's popular on japanese servers. Meteors are placed at just north of Mid/W or E/ NW or NE with the boss tanked in between the three positions. It requires hardly any movement to get the meteors placed so it sacrifices a bit of dps for a very consistent safe placement of meteors.

Paint yourself with different color, don't stay on one color for too long or death. When the entire area is covered more of one color then the other, move to the smaller color. **If you have meteor AOE, set it away from party. It's important to have at least one AOE on the smaller color.

On Nightfall she says two different things, if she says the end is near... then she will use her spear and if she says beg for mercy then she will use the gun. This is the tell for that move.

Your meteors 101 is allowing no space for error. If you have both the north and south placement inside the crescent, you have redundancy in case one of the two messes up. There's literally nothing gained by one of the two placing their meteor outside of the crescent and only increases the chance of a wipe should the inside crescent person fail or die in any way. Plus you're making the outside person have to run further, increasing the chance that they miss out on the opposite stack they need to save their life. North and South DPS/Healer BOTH inside, tank far. Easy for everyone.

You clearly have not thought this through, at this strat is 100% the best strat for doing this, and if you can't do a single mechanic, that is placing the meteor in the smal crescent instead of the big one, right, then you should not even be trying to kill this boss, as it's a basic af mechanic that requires literally no skill. OFC if someone fails it's a wipe, no matter what, also the person who puts the meteor on the outside risks absolutelly nothing.

If both players place the meteor inside the crescent, there's redundancy AND less distance to run back in order to be safe. Having one player in the large sign adds literally nothing of benefit and is just lazy. But sure, *I've* not thought it through despite having nearly 30 clears using this strat already.

We do something like your strat :D but we modified it a bit and the healer place her meteor always big side (either north or south) and the dps on the small side (south or top), so the melee dps can deal faster dps then ^^ its basically no marks with marks xD oh and we Tank her to North and placed, where you got 1 and 2, D and B for D-Dark Blade, B-Bright Blade, so the players just only have to care about far away or near her hitbox. Still you can place one more Mark to help the Tank where he should stay to tank her ^^ But after all, every party mess up the moon thing.. or refuse to try our strat.. or something else..

As a healer main, I find this fight a lot harder than the other primals. T_T It's like oh got to revive those dead dps, bluff tank, dodging AoE, watch mechs, while healing the party and help with dps. Then get blame that the party wipes overall. *sigh* life as a healer is never an easy one.

I give all extreme/savage healers an incredibly amount of credit for everything you need to pay attention too, especially if you're contributing dps too. I've leveled each healer to 60 but even taking them into an alliance raid is scary as hell imo. I don't think I'd ever even attempt the endgame stuff unless it's old and I'm way overleved.

I have a question and can't find the answer anywhere. Sometimes the number on my moon stack rises faster than everyone else's. Im switching sides to reset the number but sometimes at random it counts up super fast. What makes it go faster like that?

Hiya, I don't know if it's too much worth noting but after running as a tank multiple times, it doesn't seem like her aggro is resetting after add phase, as it takes a provoke to get her back if I died during phase transition. Not too important but something of note. Also wondering if her debuff for the tank buster changes depending on the phase as I've seen a physical debuff at times from the tank buster.

That's a spear, not a staff. I usually agree with your guides since they're spot on. There's so many different ways to do meteors during Supreme Selenomancy that it's horrible during PUGs. The way you suggest is possibly one of the safest and easiest to execute, and similar to the one we figured out with my FC. All in all, great guide as usual. Keep up the good work for the community!

Jakub Mazur put it this way my way is how every pug group does it I would know I have almost all the weapons, and it makes it so that only the healer has to pop spirit to ensure survival and they dont even have to go all the way to the edge, overall I've seem the most success my way than any other way people have tried it.

Healers to her left, DPS to her right, Tanks front/behind. That's the only thing you need for this fight as it works for both the spear and the meteors (regardless of gun/spear). No need for cardinal positions and/or markers at all.

Jacob Green the enrage for thist primal I'd about 12 minutes, but likely you'll wipe before you reach enrage. I'd say with avg dps you should clear in about 10 minutes or less. But if you have a ton of deaths imo your better off just rerunning cause it's annoying to make a comeback toward the end of the fight.
