Poor Catholics. If they only knew that water Baptism "delivers no one."(978) "Yet the grace of Baptism delivers no one from all the weakness of nature" - i.e. sin.(Catechism 978) That's a cheap, man-made grace because it doesn't deliver anyone from their sins. Only Jesus Christ delivers sinners. Those who believe in Him "receive" the "living water," the "Holy Spirit."(John 7:37-39) You cannot receive the Holy Spirit by mere physical water. Catechism 980 says that one is "reborn" by water Baptism. That's a lie. Remember, water baptism "delivers no one." "[Jesus] said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now" - Acts 1:4-5
