This tale make sense; because Harry Houdini was a Freemason, initiated into St. Cecile Lodge. So him being fascinated by Egypt, and Pyramids makes it all the more mysterious. H. P. Lovecraft knew his stuff.

Agent: Howard, baby, Houdini wants a weird tale ghost written for him. H.P.: Does he have a preference for the composition or narrative thrust of this brief literary endeavour? Agent: Huh? Uh, no - he just wants it to be in Egypt and he wants to escape something. H.P.: That direction shall suffice.

I read this years and years ago, didn't know much about Houdini then, but it started my trend of putting Houdini in different game, playing an RPG? fuck, Houdini is a good name. That lead to much, more over the years lol

A good read thanks for the upload. For my part, I'd have joined the procession and see all there was to see even if it meant I'd be eaten for my pains, but I'm perverse that way.

The narration is better at x1.25 speed imo, adds an atmosphere of panic to this pitch dark adventure.
