seriously though, that's what an AMV is supposed to do, but have you ever seen the AMVS for Undertale or something? They saturate the shit out of the video with FX and usually have a really annoying song in the backgroubd.

Thiis may seem like a silly thing to say but I disagree with the description, Last Exile is througlhy Steampunk. Steampunk is such an umbrella genre that there is a lot of things that fall within the genre. It's a futuristic sci-fi fantasy anime with victorian era asthetics and tech.

I appreciate people being perdantic but trying to invent new labels for Last Exile isn't necessary. Technically steam powered machines themselves are not required for something to be steampunk as long the setting's aesthetics are inspired by the victorian era/ industrial revolution in Europe.

+SecondThought Actually, ALL of the things in last exile are steam powered. Muskets, cannons etc are all steam powered. the "units" they use are basically nuclear reactors generating steam using "claudia" which really... lets be honest it sounds a lot like coolant.

This may not be steampunk but it comes from the other side of steampunk called diesel punk. both got a vary good culture and fan base.
