In today’s video, we take a quick trip to Tissamaharama, Sri Lanka, where we couldn’t resist stopping for some delicious Kola Kanda, a traditional and healthy herbal porridge. After that, it’s time to go shopping! It’s been a while since I last went out to pick up essentials, mainly cosmetics and a few new clothes, but only after my old ones wear out. 😄
I’ll share my minimalist approach to shopping: making a list to avoid impulse buys, choosing quality items that add value to my life, and how I organize my wardrobe to stay minimalistic and simple and avoid clutter.
We’ll also talk about the 50/30/20 financial rule that has helped me manage my earnings better by balancing needs, wants, and savings. As a business owner, I’m learning how important financial literacy is for living and long-term success.
