I think he was loving it, it takes a certain type of person to be a journeyman backup. Not a bad gig, make millions as a safety valve that usually doesn’t have to play a single snap if all goes well, as long as the ego isn’t a problem. I love backups that are very secure in their position, usually the chillest guys, outside of special teams at least.
