I cant say how many times I was happy to play PC version games because of resolution and graphics only to return on PS2 platform with the same game and just over look bad graphic because of better story and gameplay. Lets be clear PS2 Graphic was not bad at that particular time but still compare to PC graphic is solid. 1 of best examples is Porsche 2000. On PC u have beautiful graphic but dont have 30% cars or variations that you have on Original PSX . So, just use new EMULATOR DuckStation and turn inside settings ''PC MOD & TEXTURES UPSCALES'' options and you will get best NFS game.

Well, it's said that EAGL 4 (ProStreet & Undercover engine) has some streaming issues (especially with vehicles) in comparison with EAGL 3 (MW & Carbon engine), so no wonder why Black Box chose EAGL 3 for NFS World. Fortunately, both use Havok for physics, so the rubberband should be able for modding.

My favorite thing to do in PS2/Wii Undercover is inspect the whole map and see how many assets were ripped from various previous NFS games and how many of those assets are just broken for no reason as well.

EA gave a contract to Exient Entertainment which was responsible for many their handheld games and eventually Nascar '08. In just few months they picked up various assets from MW'05 and Carbon (eventually 911 GT2 and few new cars provided by Black Box) and tried to make them work, thanks to provided source code... It was a rushed game, they barely added anything new by themselves

I played the PS3 version and i didn't see any glitch my only complain about PS3/XBOX 360 version of undercover is that it's too hard even on the beggining of the game the races are hard but it's wayy better than PS2/WII versions ofc

I've watched let's plays of the real version and was so excited for the graphics until i started it for the first time.. i was so disappointed but couldn't tell my parents because i would have felt bad for them so i had to play it..

Undercover was one of the very first need for speeds that I have played so luckily I have good memories of it.(also my English was hilariously bad so I almost didn't understand anything about the story. The gameplay was the only goal for me back in the day) Also everytime I finished it, I did this trick: 1-Buy a challenger 2-Max it out 3-Buy a CCX It's the easiest way to finish the game in my opinion. If you ever wanted to play this game again (bruh) you should try it out.

I remember my ps2 was modded so it could run pirated games for $20 and I could choose some games for free, so I grabbed a couple of games including Undercover. I was surprised when I realized the map was a copy of Rosewood so I thought it was like a modded version of Most Wanted so I bought an ORIGINAL copy of Undercover for like $40 just to find out that the "modded" version of Most Wanted was in fact, the PS2 version of Undercover.

10:44 Kuru, the bugged cutscene on Wii emulator is actually an issue if you're using OpenGL renderer. Changing it to D3D11 fixes the bugged cutscene. It happened to me when I've first tried playing NFS Nitro.

When you finish a race, on the finish screen you can check the other drivers top speed and because of the rubberbanding, I've seen that number over 1000🤣

One of my favourite games ever! Now, if you change to manual gearbox from the settings, things will get interesting for sure! I've beat this game multiple times with the Camaro SS, It can go really fast even on the lower gears. (PB 120km/h 1st gear)

I got a Wii with Undercover. I played through this game now for the third time this year. In total I maybe played it 7 or 8 times on Original Hardware. Bigest Problem: If you sometimes want to change the bodykit and too quickly go through the list, the Console Freezes. Highway and Outrun are just as broken. Cops even more so, you'd have to be very lucky not needing the Bridge Escape. Otherwise, Like Knives is a absolute Banger!

The engine sound for the Gallardo is the same as the one used for Cop version of this car in PSP. Thankfully in PSP, the normal Gallardo has the proper V10 engine sound.

At least here Tri-City is actually a state with three cities. In PC/X360/PS3 version you had one city (Palm Harbor), one town (Port Crescent) and countryside (Sunset Hills). But I still prefer the nextgen version due to the sense of scale of the map

I mean...... we all know this is a MW reskin map but. I liked the layout... from a nostalgia point.... playing this now in 2024.. brings me back. i can easily navigate and not loose myself in the map.. it's a pleasant feeling ... BUT YES ! some minimap paths are there when ingame they aren't... this is the most annoying thing tbh... because handling is PRO STREET level of goodness... and colors are.......sorry to say but... better than the yellow PISS filter MW05 had.. when I play MW05 on pc. i always load that mod that gets rid of it

The cutscenes are broken on the Wii emulator (Dolphin) because you use the Vulkan renderer.

Playing on an emulator doesn't give you the accurate experience. On an emulator the Gamecube version of NFS MW runs at 60 FPS all the time, and the PS2 version of Vice City is also very smooth, when on real hardware both have variable performance.

I played this game a lot, my PC failed to run Undercover and so I picked up the PS2 version with a friend. I had thought the PC version was the best game ever back then because my friend hyped it up so much, little did I know that the PS2 version was more playable than PC lmao. I was still bummed that the PS2 didn't have a Bugatti and damage models though, that was my dream car back then and I loved damage models in games.

NFS games were confusing after Underground 2. MW had the cop pursuits but no drifting. Carbon had some new features and brought back drifting but ugly bodykit selection for the custom ones and no drag racing. Then they gave us this wonderful copy n paste of the two previous games with hardly any passion.
