I understand if you may not always want to talk or explain things, but I really appreciate when you do explain and share your knowledge. I know there is a lot of planning and calculating on these jobs and I always appreciate hearing the facts, calculations and planned or unplanned thinking process.

I always love to see that choice of equipment that is used in the USA, i never realized what a small dozer or a skidsteer can do in the the right hands, what really surprised me, is that there are no wheeled diggers arround or used for smaller jobs like that, are the not allowed to travel on public roads over there?

when it's wet on our jobsites we call it pumping the soil when the action of driving a wheeled or tracked vehicle turns the lower dry soil into mush your pumping the water into the soil :)

Yeah Man, Geoff did a little spoiler on getting the "Fan Belt" fixed this morning, Don't know how much of that Artic Air you guys got there in your neck of the woods ?? But, here in Western Ky. It has been down right freaking COLD !! Hell, it was only 1-2 degrees this morning but, it's going to warming up for this coming week , Thank God !! But, they are calling for a bunch of rain to be moving in tonight and tomorrow, and a "Ice Storm" a little on to the West. Don't mind the rain ,and Snow myself, But, damn sure don't want to go threw another ice storm like we had here a few years back, that was awful !! No power for up over a month just from the North side of town to the Southside, Was something else !! Anyway, Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!

That crusher run, as it would be known here, were it virgin material, runs $600 Cdn. For a 21 ton tri-axle load. And it disappears into thin air when you spread it, so it seems.

Letsdig18: post a video showing your dump truck inside accelerating empty and loaded. People hating on the Allison, ever since you’ve gotten it, I haven’t seen any videos about it. I think that would make a real great video. I’d also like to know what you get for fuel economy, how well the engine brake performs with the Allison. When you scoop up a bucket of material with the loader I would shift the bucket dump handle forward and back just a tad over the pile so your not spreading material all over the place as your loading into the truck ! 🤔👍👍👍

Hi Chris . . I'm wondering why you used the dozer to cut in the road rather than the motor grader as you did on the new road in last summer. Will there be a finish coat of gravel on top that crushed concrete? Cause it makes a great road base but its incredibly dusty when its dry, unlike using asphalt millings makes a great solid road and no dust

Could you grab one or two 12v radiator cooling fans for small car or whatever and rig them up in front of the radiator for temporary use? If there's a way to mount them quick n easy then you would have them for similar uses after the fan belt comes in. Probably too late now anyway, just a thought.
