A Leverkusen title win would be incredible, but the pragmatic side of me feels Xabi will run a very competitive 2nd with an exciting young squad. I hope for his sake that he stays another year and further develops his style and experience. Such a wonderful player to watch in his pomp, too.

Depth and forced rotation is going to be a real issue for Leverkusen, you could really see that everything was running a lot less smoothly when Andrich played instead of Palacios, Palacios came on again and everything fell into place.

I think YES they can even tho it’s in the early days. They’ve already beat Leipzig so I don’t think Leipzig will do them any damage really. They near beat Bayern but you could also say Bayern nearly beat them. However the way they’re playing is just amazing man. And Bayern are also a bit shaky as well so if Leverkusen take Al their chances then they definitely will.

The starting midfield Spain can put out is a combination of any of Rodri, Pedri, Gavi, Mikel Merino, Thiago, Fabian Ruiz, Koke, Llorente, Carlos Soler, Dani Olmo etc etc. italys depth is great but I think the quality of a starting trio in midfield goes to Spain with Rodri, Pedri, and Gavi/Olmo
