Cohen is an offensive guru - he was comfortable at Kentucky but took the Bucs' job given the good experience he had with Mayfield at the LA Rams. Those two guys are having fun! I don't see Cohen jumping to a head coaching job after one year- especially when he has all the ingredients on his current team to be a part of a Super Bowl winner at some point in the future.

Jordan Deluga of Duval Daily (also known as GenJag here on KZbin) thinks Coen is only bested by Ben Johnson in his official top 6 candidates rankings, which Vrabel didn’t even appear on the list. #6 was Flores. #5 Todd Monken. #4 was Aaron Glenn. #3 Joe Brady. #2 Liam Coen. #1 Ben Johnson.

I think Liam is more valuable than coach Bowles. So Buccaneers owners should promote Liam if he goes looking for a head coaching gig & let Bowles go. Although, I believe Liam should stay as offensive coach for atleast 2 more seasons before he goes for a head coach job. Dave Canales had a decent offense in Tampa, then he went to Carolina & we all know how that played out. Experience matters. One season with a good offense doesn't mean you're ready to be a head coach.

He's well liked coach.and helped to improve this team since getting handed over the keys. Last season all that was talked about was this team was rebuilding (or as Bowles said reloading) and still in work in progress. All the issues that came out of that last Brady season have been fixed. O-Line issues, offensive play calling, not having a 43 year old QB, signing Baker, Evans and Tristian.
