I remember watching your videos 5-6 years ago. Man i so happy you still do this. You are a mountain of information for the fisherman out there I have a mountain of respect for you and the time you put in showing us all this critical information. God bless you The way they just pass by the bait with no interest tells you that they are a) not hungry enough, b) it is presented wrong and they can see it is a trap, c) it is the wrong bait for the lake. But i think we can all agree that d) this lake has no fish, i got 0 bites in 5h. It is the wrong answer

Fantastic. I love to see the carp keep swimming away because a pike was hovering just over the bait 🤣. What I would really like to see is if your hook bait is the same as the boilies you put down. If you make a pile of bait with the hook in the middle i'm sure you'll catch more. It's like with the method feeder, the fish go for the whole lot, not just the hook bait.
@Jessebella13 жыл бұрын
All depends on the water and the fish, there are lots of places that approach will never ever work, scattered boilies far apart however are great on the same venues. There's way more to it than this. Also a different bait than the free offerings, same with size is often a big winner.

Fish are some of the most diverse and fascinating creatures on the planet. They come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, and are found in almost every aquatic environment imaginable, from the depths of the ocean to freshwater streams and lakes. One of the most attractive fish is the Betta fish, also known as Siamese Fighting Fish. These beautiful fish are known for their vibrant colors, flowing fins, and territorial behavior. They are popular pets and are relatively easy to care for. Another popular and attractive fish is the Clownfish, made famous by the movie "Finding Nemo". These small, brightly colored fish are found in the warm waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. They have a unique symbiotic relationship with sea anemones, which provide them with protection and a place to lay their eggs.

Dpends on the water you fish, in some cases on some harder venues, actually creating little carpets of bait but fishing a few metres away from those baited areas, will get you the bigger fish and better fish. Sometimes a pile of bait will get you nothing at all on other venues, sometimes it will get you loads on other places. The variety of waters and how the carp are in them is massive and differences endless. For me that makes carp fishing, so appealing and has for 40 years.

And here I thought carp weren’t very bright fish, to me it looked like they were actively avoiding that bait rig.

Was interesting to see the light coloured Bait was more favourable by not just the carp. Soon as the pink Bait went out. All fish were way more cautious. I've taken note of this for my next fishing trip. Great video btw. Its the only thing I don't like about bottom fishing compared to fishing off the top. Never know what's going on down there. Is my Bait sitting right etc. All I need now is to take my own personal diver. So he can perfectly position my feed and hookbait 😂

Interesting how sometimes a perch will swim rite by a pike, and the pike doesn't react at all. I would have always imagined bait fish like perch keeping a greater distance from pike, fascinating footage.
@Manetho72 Жыл бұрын
Perch are predators themselves. I was more amazed that the northern didn't attack one of those many small shads (I think they were shads), but he wasn't a real big northern either.
