Id consider the 2000s the best time for CN and Nick. They had plenty of amazing new cartoons coming out but were still playing all the best stuff from the 90s as well

Im pretty confident the then Leader of CN at the time had some kind of grudge with Billy and Mandy since I swear i remembered a statement from them saying that Billy and Mandy wasnt that great, Which likely lead to then shooting down Underfist, which is a tragedy.
