How efficient is it vs a “new install” system? I.e one with 100-150mm PIR underneath? Obviously a huge cost/disruption difference in the installs..

The system is super efficient and because the pipes are so close to the surface of the slab you achieve minimum heat loss and a quicker Warm Up times. The floor must be concrete as the system doesn't cut into asphalt. A traditional system install like you say is disruptive in an existing floor and not practical, most of our systems are installed within a day or 2 depending on floor size. Levelling over the pipes with a suitable fibre reinforced product is reccomended afterwards, depending on your final floor finish.

@@ceramicsolutionsmanchester1523 so you can still use low enough flow temperatures to work efficiently with a heat pump?
