The deadEX package is an in game Easter egg. It’s actually quite rare to find, not sure you can find it on any islands that aren’t custom made ones. Also keep your eyes peeled for Wilson the Volleyball 🏐

Broadbent, that package is reference to Cast Away, starring Tom Hanks as a guy who delivers Fed Ex packages that crashes in the ocean just like how you start in Stranded Deep. Give the movie a go, it's a good one.

hell yea, that one is worth playing, there's so much you can build there and the game changes completely based on where you build the main base, if you wanna do that, you can kinda play the game with smaller occasional bases, i guess, its so nice

i know whats in the misterious package but first you must understand that stranded deep is based on a movie that is based on a real story that happened to the now retired boss of Fedex a mail delivery company the story starts with the boss wanted to deliver this big package on time but no one wanted to go because there was a big storm so he decided to do it himself despite his co-workers trying to convince him it was suicide and of course the plane crashed in water just like in the game but he saved the package altho never opened it but later some other package washed up on the shores of the island he ended getting stuck on he opened them one of which had a soccer ball that he named WILSON i think you can find it in the game but anyways several years later a big piece of plastic washed up on the shore and he used it to make a sail for his boat to finaly escape of of course he brought both the mystery box and wilson with him but wilson left him during the trip then he came accross a big boat that took him in and finally he was able to finish his deliver and quit eatinh nothing but coconut and crabs - and guess what was in it? A SOLAR POWERED SATELITE PHONE literally he wasted years of his life trying to deliver the mystery box but had he opened it he'd be rescued within weeks instead of years

the one wreck you weren't familiar with is because usually you find it on it's side with the console down near the ground and the crate below the front deck

Whenever i watch Stranded Deep videos i get the urge to start a new game myself. I need to get some custome islands for my next game. You really should go ahead and kill all the snakes as soon as possible. Then you don't have to worry about them. Would be cool if there where multiplayer of some sort.

Can't you drop the crates or items down on the raft and carry them with you like that or do you have to carry them? Maybe should test if you don't know because you could move a lot more stuff at a time if so.

On your boat, put another foundation down in the middle and dont put the floor on it. Boom stack creates.

You know you can do a crate storage on your boat placing the bottom thingy of a raft but not putting a plat form on it. And then surround that one part that as no plat form with parts that have plat forms. And then you can just drop your crates in there.

So I've started watching on season 3, just wondering does the game have like war bunkers? Like the Chinese used in ww2, some crashed planes would look nice as well, even older ships like frigates, I'd have npc survivors scattered throughout the map and you can bring them together to make an island community, each survivor could have the skills to make something, maybe you find a mechanic or a fisherman, even a cook just give them the resources and they will do the jobs. Maybe a teenager that can be given a spear for spear fishing mabye a retired emt, that can provide some medical care.
