The movie opens right away with the film's main theme, Kalasnjikov (or Kalashnikov or Sheva) as Marko Dren (Miki Manojlović) and Petar Popara "Crni" ("Blacky") (Lazar Ristovski) arrive drunk on Belgrade on a carriage and get to Crni's house at Vera's (Mirjana Karanović) encounter. After the cut, the trubači reprises the same music while Marko runs drunk through the market until he picks up a prostitue. On the long TV version, Marko begins to dance next to a fountain until the music stops, then pays Golub (Pigeon) (Bora Todorović), the trumpetist, and dismissises the musicians.
Yes, the intro is written in italian instead of Serbo-Croatian because it's taken from the BluRay version.
Arranged by Goran Bregovic based on an old Romanian folk song called "Ciocarlia" (yet its credited as Bregovic's composition) and interpreted by The Tzigane Brass Orchestra from Slobodan Salijevic and from Boban Markovic, according to the soundtrack credits.
