Hope you see this message, it may be a GREAT solution to the welding issues!! PLEASE READ KIND SIR! I have an idea that could solve the welding problem. First off, we know that the weld takes longer, because it becomes part of the base, which ends up adding to a list of materials in the background of each creation turning it into a more complex creation with each weld. Why not cut a hole into the ground, wrap around underneath baseground, and attach the wall or solid map ground. So essentially each weld, will appear to be IN the military base (maybe have a couple steps to make it blend with ground without touching it), BUT will not be part of it. And EACH weld will be a separate attachment to any part of the GROUND only that is accessible. One example, to help this make sense, make a 9x9 block hole in the military ground. Running a 1 block thin "line" in the center, wrap around the "underground empty space beneath base", and continue that 1 block line until you reach the inside "side" walls of that squarish hole underneath the Military Base Ground. and the other end of the 1 block line will STUB UP out in the center of that 9x9 hole cut out, make a block raised from the base ground and VOILA, your Barracks can be welded to that stub out, which is technically welded to the Ground as a separate Entity. which can allow you to Add tons more creations with faster WELD Times and less crashing. PLEASE EXPERIMENT WITH THIS IDEA IN THE NEXT EPISODE, would hate to see you cut the series short because of the limitations of scrap mechanic. Hope you see this message!
