Great information! Would have loved to have seen them sewn out for a before and after comparison.

I had to comment BEFORE I even get to watch the rest of the video, which I'm sure is going to be another excellent one. I'm laughing my sox off, "I Will Not Re-Digitize This File..." You sound just like me!!! lol, thanks for the humor!

Meditation clearly works!! Looked such a complex mess but was actually quite simple - an excellent lesson in looking for the obvious. John, when would you use the 3D Satin stitch?

Does it matter if the edge run underlay is #2 vs #1 underlay?

I don't think I would leave those background patches overlapping each other, right? Seems unnecessary and bulky to have so much overlapping, right John?

Great job! I was wondering, why is it that in the lettering you chose zigzag+edge run for the underlay, but in the border, you only chose edge run and no zigzag? What are the implications? Thank you

I know it's been a year and you may already know, but the likely reason is the width. The letters are much wider and the zig zag gives them more support where as the border is narrower and doesn't need the support of the zigzags. I hope that helps

@@caodesignworks2407 it may've been a year but I'm new so this explains a lot. I hope for other beginners too. Thank you so much!

Okay , what does it mean to " go under " ? Do you mean the satin stitch goes down first ?
