Underrated Batman shows

Today we'll be reviewing three different animated TV adaptations of the iconic Batman. Many have claimed these were "too different" or "weird" but are they really? Or are they actually hidden gems waiting to be found?

Batman the Brave and The Bold has a special place in my heart just due to how fun the show was.

I was 45 when The Batman and 49 when Batman: The Brave and the Bold came out. Both were great in its animation and in plot.

Great job and yes I also love The Batman and Brave and The bold. I might have to give Beware another shot sometime in the future because I’m hearing a few good things about it but I definitely agree more with the people who say that Oracle should have been in the wheelchair for this show. Brave and the bold is definitely my personal favorite out of this list because it’s the one that it has the most action and I just feel that it clicks better for me. However I will also say that the Batman from 2004 had a lot of great episodes even though there were some times when I thought it truly was more of a “kid friendly” show, and I was super upset that they never introduced Wonder Woman into the series. However I definitely liked a lot of the episodes and yes the Dracula movie was great. Great job again and it’s a pleasure to see more love for the 2000s Batman cartoons!

Oracle in Beware the Batman was meant to be wheelchair-bound from the get-go, but according to showrunner Mitch Watson, it didn't happen because some higher-up thought it was "too depressing". Also according to him, we could've gotten a second season if Mattel hadn't reneged in making toys for it to do their own Batman toy line instead. That, plus Cartoon Network's general mistreatment of WB Animation shows sealed its fate.

@@bradworstyt7001 I don't think they wanted ANY disability portrayed on a young girl, which is messed up. Watson actually mentioned how things change, since when he ran Big Nate, the executives actually encouraged him to include a wheelchair-using character.

I never gave brave in the bold a chance when I was younger. When it came out I was going into high school, becoming more mature myself, I was hoping for a more of a continuation of The Batman. I thought let's sure of it for a long time until I gave it a chance. It's still not my thing but I want to give it props for bringing in a bunch of other characters from DC. If I remember right, they had an episode with Booster Gold of all people. I give the creators a lot of props for trying to incorporate lesser known characters While taking the show in a different direction and feel.

I really enjoy a lighter side to Batman. Having be dark and gritty all the time is so boring, and i personally feel that it's happening in the live action films. That's why i appreciate the campy portrayals of Batman because i know that we may not get them again.

I was a little disappointed with “Beware the Batman” because they cut out most of the “Rogues Gallery”, mostly going with B-list villains (Magpie? Seriously?). But we did see Professor Pyg and Ra’s al Ghul, so it wasn’t all bad! 😜

ghost-maker needs to be in a batman series or ABYSS and Prometheus and two Bonus Merrymaker basically a updated version of the Joker or the best one of them all Simon Hurt easily the most interesting Batman villain that has never been used ever in a Batman series

I've never done a collab before, but I'm definitely open to the idea. There are a few hurtles, however. Mainly the fact that I actually have no idea how to edit, or the basics of how collabs are even made. But that's nothing (too) impossible. In short, I think we could, but it will need some planning.
