I do think that her rework lowered Janna skill ceiling and player expression but one big thing people seem to overlook about the new Janna is that - if you can predict the enemy movements and land the 1rst tornado - you will always land the 2nd one as well, basically providing AoE knockup CC that is as long as pre-rework fully charged tornado, except it's almost instant. Basically she peels like a beast but if you are good with her she can easily set up ganks and picks as well. Unfortunately the fact she cannot chose the target of her shield any more feels awful and I hope that it gets changed/reverted. One advice to the new Janna enjoyers: if an enemy is trying to approach you/your squishes obviously throw the tornado in their direction but if they blink/dash right on top of you instead aim the tornado in the direction you are planning to escape to: the enemy will chase you and after 0.75 secs the tornado will follow and be almost unavoidable.

All I want in my life is riot to bring back the old channeling ult and the old controllable tornado, now forecast Janna ult looks weird

Thanks for this video. It was needed. I am playing Janna this season and was trolled a lot when I picked her. Hopefully some people will see the value. I still have a lot to learn but didn't we all start one day? I do find the opportunity of saving the team with her ultimate followed by the tornado and the second ability to run away (and give some damage).

Oh c'mon now, Yuumi and Janna are both fun, and they are both useful in *DIFFERENT* situations, you guys gotta realize that every support has its moment in different situations, like seraphine shines when there are multiple enemies packed, or Sona shines when everyone is together, or Janna, when someone is right beneath their turret, not every support is good in every situation.

U guys have no idea how many desingages I won because of that ult, plus a bunch of objective steals by pusing lee sin away and getting the drag smite

Really though. Transcendence and the ancient coin don't scale fast enough to warrant their picks. Start relic shield, with hextech, and build ability haste boots. You lose 55ap, but you gain more ability haste than ancient coin and trancendance combined, and earlier I also prefer to build tear before the harmonic echo, and then finish it as the third item, after it's already capped out on ability casts. Relic shield, tear, ability haste boots, harmonic echo, seraphs, staff of the flowing waters/Luden's in either order gives you 2150bonus Mana converted to AP, 100% ability haste, and the only amplified damage that can actually be justified with the nerf to W Ancient coin/trancendance is better if you're starting rod of ages and parlaying it into a warmog's after manaboots for the rapid HP regen and semi-tabkability. It doesn't belong in an AP build where you can just run boots to break out over 50%abilitiy haste two items into the build. You only need manaboots in builds where you start tanky, so that your damage is respectable enough to not just get steamrolled by a mid+jungle flooding botlane
