I completely agree with you re: Carissa Broadbent's other works being so underrated! I'm still need to read Slaying the Vampire Conqueror, but The War of Lost Hearts trilogy and Six Scorched Roses are MASTERPIECES.

I just read Slaying the Vampire Conqueror and really enjoyed it. (Side note, I saw you comment that you haven't read War of Lost Hearts yet and I HIGHLY recommend it. My favorite books of this year!) Also love This Vicious Grace, so this is a great list already. I need to try Elise Kova soon!

The only one I've read is Fortuna Sworn. The beginning of the series is quite entertaining, but I think it's going on for too long. I recently read the 5th book and felt like it had so little substance... I was already starting to lose interest in the 4th one (I thought it was the last one, so got frustrated when I realized it wasn't ^^') I kinda wanna know how it ends, but I'm not sure I want to go through another 20h audiobook where very little actually happens (plot-wise at least).
