I have the Omegaland Tarot, and I was using it for daily draws that I shared on my Twitter couple of months ago. I have a review of it scheduled to appear on my blog later this month. I think also it is a deck that works for the Hard Times and pandemic we live in now, but as you say, it is not for everyone. I also have the Gaian Tarot, one of my favorites. I do fall among folks that feel decks like Tarot of New Visions are gimmicky, but as the Rivera Tarot Corollary to Ranganathan states: "Every deck its collector/reader/user, and every collector/reader/user their deck." I remember something that happened a while back but still resonates with me. I had stepped on a city bus in an American city and looked around and was amazed at how beautiful every single person on that bus was. It was as if I had stepped on a bus full of angels!... okay, I was stoned at the time, but it was a gift from spirit to see underneath the illusion, Maya. And it reminds me always to think on the Navajo American Indian prayer. "With beauty behind me may I walk, with beauty below me may I walk, with beauty above me may I walk, with beauty all around me may I walk. I will have a light body, I will be happy forever, nothing will hinder me, I walk with beauty behind, above below all around me I walk in beauty" I recommend reading the whole prayer. 🙏❤️

I bought the Ancestral Path tarot back in 1996. It was smaller, and had borders. The titles were underneath the images which I prefer, however it’s good to see the larger images. I also have Julia’s Maat, Blue Moon and Egyptian decks, she has devised her own astrological system which is interesting.

🐚🐚🐚 I'll be honest and say most of the Tarot decks shown here just weren't my cup of tea, but I am always interested in seeing what is out there, so this was good for that - thank you. The most surprising one for me was the *New Visions Tarot.* I actually gave away the original pocket Waite-Smith deck I had studied with, as I had grown tired of the imagery and I had become very blasé (as you put it). I am now curious to check out the *New Visions Tarot* (which shows each Waite-Smith card scene from the behind perspective), as well as the the *Before Tarot* (which shows the moment before the Waite-Smith scene in each card) and the *After Tarot* (which shows the moment after the Waite-Smith scene in each card). I feel like these changed scenes could jog my mind more and challenge me to see each card from a different point of view, and therefore come to appreciate their meanings at a deeper level. While I think the New Era Elements is intriguing, I just wouldn’t be able to look at some of the cards; I find that disappointing because most of the deck is brilliant. My new wishlist deck from this video, however, is the Uncommon - love it so much and even though I’ve been watching a ton of walkthroughs the past six months, I’d not seen that one. Blessings!

Thank you so much! I don’t own many inspired Thoth decks, the only ones are the new era element tarot in this video and the outgrow yourself tarot & oracle ( it can be both) which is an indie deck. I’m not super familiar to Thoth yet so it’s not my go to for reading but I can recommend those ones because even as someone who doesn’t use Thoth as much as RWS inspired decks I enjoy both of them a lot 😊 oh and also the telezma tarot which is another indie deck ( it’s pricey though) but it’s beautiful and one of my favorite finds of this year. I don’t know of any others though I am sorry

The uncommon tarot cardstock is quite glossy so that is definitely something to be aware of because I know so many people don’t like glossy cards. The Gaian yes so good 😍 always giving healing vibes !!

I know this is an old video, but I enjoy the Arcana Tarot Playing Cards by Dead on Paper, and I NEVER see it used. It’s unique for sure. First, the cards are poker sized. That alone I’d think would be easier for video production, being able to show whole spreads up closer than with tarot sized cards. The art is gorgeous too, front and back, though it is in black and white. The suits are the very definition of pipish, as they’re mainly displayed as the literal American playing card pips, though the tarot pips are also indicated on each card. It also comes on a lovely linen cardstock and in a nice embossed and foiled box. It’s VERY packable to bring in a bag or pocket.

I have the Neo Tarot and I agree with everything you said! I have the portuguese version and the guidebook came separated in a pocket, I guess they changed it here because a lot of people were complaining abt the box.

🐚🐚🐚 I think the Cosmic Tarot has to be 80s, with those hair and clothes styles. I love how you called it bonkers! It's not for me, but I enjoyed you talking about it. What I love is the Golden Tarot by Kat Black! I need to play with my copy now! I still like the look of the Neo Tarot and the Uncommon Tarot, both of which have tempted me before. The Anna K. tarot is not for me, but I do find the Anna K. Lenormand very tempting! Thank you for this interesting video!

The new Era elements is one of my favorite tarot decks. I don't have an issue with the pictures, these pictures show the truth of our world. I love to work with it. Another mass market deck I really love is the animal totem tarot. The meanings and the choice of the animals are so great.

12:14 wow, those cards are huge!!! 😂 I have this deck on my wishlist but I didn't realize the cards were so big, my god. Also, I added the Gaian Tarot to my wishlist. The blue border isn't too bad. I think I could get used to it. 16:56 I want this deck so much. I put it on my wishlist a while back because I found out it was for self-care and I LOVE SELF-CARE SO MUCH!!! That book looks so bomb. Sucks it was glued in wtf. Also, it reminds me of the Mystic Mondays but less crazy bright.

This is a really great video, thank you for highlighting these decks! I am adding a lot of them to my wish list now. I have a copy of the Ancestral Path Tarot dated 1995. It has borders around the cards that I don't like. Also, the circle on the back of the cards has the image in it which is the same as on your little white booklet, instead of a pearl. The card backs on mine also have a white border. 🐚

Ohh you can find a larger guidebook on ebook version to put on your tablet etc. Amazon sells it as ebook format for like very cheap I got mine 2 or 3 euros max and it has a ton of great info about the deck if you love it I would totally recommend 😁 I think the actual book version that used to come with the deck a long time ago is no longer printed so the paper format might be super expensive to find but the ebook was a great read !

My favourite deck is the Cartomanzia 184 by Modiano - and I haven't seen it anywhere on yt. Actually I found it on amazon while looking for an egyptian style tarot. The thing about I like most is, that it is a mix of the french suites and Marseilles + the Majors are in a nice aquarell-art style but egyptian themed. And the cards contain also astrological information. The only bad thing about it is, the deck has keywords and the guidebook only in italian, and I don't speak italian. Also the paper is great.

I have the original Gaian tarot before it went OOP and schiffer republished it. I am very happy I have that version because the cards are way to large in the schiffer version. I trimmed the original ones sadly enough, years ago. I regret it now because it's OOP (that version).
