01:14 Dippity Do!!! Omg: story time! I'm a former/"never gonna NOT be one, but I don't do it professionally anymore" Hairstylist. In their late 20s, *somebody* whom absolutely *wasn't me* was dating a totally NOT Triad guy. Breathe...let me explain. This man was SO secretive, this SWIM person had NO IDEA what they'd gotten themselves into! It was about a year, maybe more, when they found out...when it was *almost* too late. Terrifying. ANYWAY! This person we're talking about, she became Mr. Badguy's personal hairstylist. His orders? Frosted, white-as-possible tips. On the thickest, deepest, 🎶black, black, black, black, numbuhh woonnnee🎶 Hong Kong Hair. And they did it! Got his foils up to level 9, icy blonde, without toner, OR any wayward orangey/yellowy spots or foil root tiger stripes!! He also wanted his hair tight around sides and back, but long and spiky on top. Over time, it morphed into a white-tipped faux hawk, the length faded to a v in the back. Still: Spiked STRAIGHT UP. He REFUSED to use any of the nice, high-quality, super-hold gels, glossy, no-movement pomades, or XXXTra mega-hold hairsprays SWIM showed, and tested on him. Nope. To him it was all garbage, except the toning shampoo and conditioner that was snuck into his shower. He was Dippity Do Man. Which, due to his accent, he adorably, deadly-seriously, called "Doodily Dip". He learned English in his early teens, and spoke it better than many of his born-in-BC, homeslices. You know. Wannabes. Once SWIM realized the very extreme danger she was in? She GTFO. Retuned all the hazardous bads he'd STORED AT HER APARTMENT. (for free; no danger pay!😢) and drove over to his place to drop off the suitcases. As soon as he pulled into the driveway, she backed out, and took off. "Everything is in the spot," she said as she pulled past him in the driveway. The last thing she heard him say through her car window? "Come back! Don't worry: I'm not gon' hurt you!" Here's a tip: If someone says those words to you? RUN! Anyway. Dippity Do.

ive never made a video of making them, but i can try to explain! these are cardstock so a bit thicker & sturdier than paper! i painted both sides black & cut out the little thin strips, tapered on one end. i bend them into the curled lash shape & then i grab a pair of strip lashes in their plastic tray, a pair with a nice sturdy band, & glue each paper strip to the top of the strip lash with lash glue! it’s so fun because you can arrange them how you want, make them super long or super thick! i hope that makes sense. i really want to do cynthia now hahahaha i had the same though lol
