This video is super awesome! Thanks alot. I have always wondered about words repeated twice in a row and tried to avoid them in formal writing or school essays thinking they were wrong because, u know, and as you said, they really look weird when written down😂😂😂 Here is a sentence that i find quite strange. "The papers in his office were in such a mess, they took weeks to sort out." I find 'they took weeks to sort out' really strange. It seems to me that the papers are the subject since neither the passive nor any pronouns were used but I really could not imagine papers sorting themselves out. And I'd be super grateful if you correct any typos or ...some weird unnatural sentences ,lol, I have used here. :)

Hi Abhishek, yes it's correct to use 'is'. Here, you use 'mine' as a possessive in place of something like 'My home'. So the correct sentence would be: 'My home is a hut beside the Ganga,' the same as it would be, 'Mine is a hut beside the Ganga'.
