This OAP needs a concise description/definition of all this AI jargon, and your video fits that bill very nicely! I'm keeping this one "bookmarked." That way, when others waffle on about AI...I'll have a chance at interpreting what they're gassing on about. Mahalo, Gary!

When I worked in this field, in my last university years, at the end of the 90s, we said the "network", or "neural network", etc, to refer to whet we were doing. And the prevailing point of view was it as an extension of Control Theory (as PI, PID, Kalman filters, state space controllers... etc). Artificial intelligence was a term that sounded funny back then. And, sorry guys, transformers are not going to give us any real AI, their complexity grows quadratic with the size of their context (their conversational memory). But that does not mean it's not useful already. Nice video, thanks.

The only thing you need to remember is the current incarnation of AI is not actual Artificial Intelligence, at best it's simply Machine Learning (ML) inference, at worst it's just an algorithm constructed from FOR loops and IF-ELSE statements.
