Most Sunnis, Shiites & Sectarians do not understand the Quran. They presumed that the surah al-fathiha is a supplication. There are many mistranslations & misinterpretations in that short surah that misguides most people. Here is an example how a mistranslation of a simple word/preposition (to) can make a very, very big difference. [ 1:6 ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَ ٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ ۝٦ ] Here are 2 translations with & without the preposition (to) #1. _1:6 Guide us the straight way_ #2. _1:6 Guide us to the straight path_ In #1 you are *already on the straight path with the Quran* so, everything in the Quran will guide you to this straight path. In #2 you are *supplicating* to the God who sent down this Quran as guidance & mercy to mankind and you are still asking for His Guidance & Mercy!!!! Please go read the Quran again... but this time forget everything you think you know of the modern-day Arabic language engineered by the latter-day Sunni, Shiite & Sectarian religious scholars. _peace_ *The Quran is its own dictionary. It explains everything in detail.*

You posed the question, _"Have you ever wondered why faith and reliance on God are so important?"_ Then you answered, _"Faith is like a moral compass guiding us through the journey of life."_ Okay... so you likened "faith" to a "compass." A compass has a magnetic north... so, "faith" has God as its "magnetic north," right? But here lies the problem with your simile... i. ) The Jews say their "magnetic north" is the God who makes them Jews. ii.) The Christians say their "magnetic north" is the God who makes you believe that Jesus is the son of God. iii) The Sunnis, Shiites & Sectarian say their "magnetic north" is the God who makes you bear witness that Muhammad is a messenger of God. So, the faith, i.e. the moral compasses of the Jews, Christians, Sunnis, Shiites & Sectarians do not point to the same "magnetic north," correct? But there can only be one God, i.e. one magnetic north... so, (i.) & (ii.) & (iii) have FAULTY moral compasses! Although you also added, _"Relying on God bring an unmatched sense of peace, a resilience that helps us weather the storms of life."_ But you never explained the "HOW?" i.e. How do you rely on God? Do you rely on: a.) His Scriptures, or b.) what humans say about God? _peace_
