I am new to banjo and have heard of deering and gibson, but You my friend 😃 You have something i don't see when i looked at theres... You can see your Genuineness in all you do. Its less like your making banjos and more like you are growing them from birth and walking them to the alter on there wedding day only if they are gunna be in good hands😊 I am only on your 3rd video that explains how to do stuff and you can see that you genuinly take so much pride in the small details and were willing to take the time out to share these concepts with us all weather we had your product or not. That is a man that you know cares about his craft.💖 Right now my wife got me a Savanna sb100, but when the day comes for me to be able to upgrade from entry level to a bonified real deal work of love...I will be soooo excited to see what i can order from you😀😀😀

I like to cut the top angle the same angle as the head stock and start the groove with a little cut then use a string to saw the actual groove

how do we determine the distance between the grooves?

Thank you very much for the clear, concise and easily understood information. I’ve been contemplating replacing the nut on my Stelling banjo due to considerable chipping on the face of the nut associated with two of the string grooves. Your video addressed a lot of my questions and concerns about tackling the project. Do you suggest using bone as the nut material?
