This video is so much useful. I want to show some Highlights of this video😃 -- *Drawback of Carbonation: -It will decreases the pH value from 12 -13 to 9. Due to low pH steel starts corrosion. Reduce the life span, possibly to occur cracks. -Carbonation shrinkage - Reduce the volume of Concrete and may occur cracks and effect the Life span. -Biological growth - chances to occur in low pH by the carbonation. Biological growth hold the moisture in concrete and In case of winter season it may freezing by this effect may chances to develop cracks in concrete. Multiple factors affect by this carbonation like WC Ratio, Permeability and so on. Avoid this effect by, -Low WC Ratio -Sufficient concrete cover -Use Pozzolanic Additives -Proper Curing
