This is my first ever piece of content where I make a script and then create a video off of it. Due to this please be kind with your impressions of this video, I simply wanted to get my opinion out to the world about what I see as issues for Genshin. But why is Endgame so important for Genshin? Casual games don't need one?

Well that's a discussion and this is a fair point. Personally though, if I was Hoyoverse introducing Permanent endgame content gives the player some kind of aim (and more money to beat them). Not just beat the abyss for 4 years straight. Causal games all need endgame content, or all they are just normal one-and-done games. Other hoyoverse games prove that you can have more than just the abyss in endgame, but because it's working they don't change it. But I respect your opinion, I just think that having more ways to use the strength you've so tireless worked for is better than the current state!

@@Densai1 Well, Hoyoverse's behavior isnt actually very good...or eager, that's for sure, we agree on that. But yeah...i think the real problem isnt just "depth". It's "width". From what i observe and what's been happening in Honkai Star Rail's latest patch, the way they do things is very lacking. Another thing people might not have noticed is the wide and huge amount of non Endgame activities in Wuthering Waves. Take it from an MMO, but...Endgame raids back in the day were not the only activities then. Minigames, Puzzles, Exploration,etc,activities,events... Or simply how taking in the atmosphere of the world. I understand Hoyoverse might be trying a tried and true tactic with "using a good story to carry the game/franchise".It worked back in Honkai Impact. But it makes less sense in an open world environment or a more interactive medium. Take it from a gamer: Reading/watching something passively does not satisfy the gameplay urge. It doesnt allow for the skill expression, the feeling of participation, the feeling of theorycrafting and solving it yourself.

@@ys3606 I may be misunderstanding you here so my bad if so. But from what I understand you think Genshin's method is passive but the exploration, puzzles and so forth are satisfying the urge. If I'm entirely wrong about that ignore this, but in my eyes this is another thing for me which actually harms the game than helps it. Puzzles in Mondstadt were just that, a puzzle you have to work out quickly and get a reward. Now it feels like a lot of puzzles are biproducts of story, another puzzle or something else. I have raided in both WoW and FFXIV, I know the kind of "satisfaction" you mean I think. To me, I would rather they just added more interesting things in the endgame than their state right now. HSRs exploration is actually more enjoyable for me, go to an area and pick up the chests in the area and do the puzzles. I'm bored of running around a huge area with a % to go off of. You have to grind for many weeks before the compass and then it's not even much better. You can use maps but I don't play games to stare at a map to find the chests. I play for the gameplay. That's why I'm interested in Wuthering Waves and enjoying HSR a lot more. As I said before, I respect people who enjoy Genshin but I do think that finally people like me will have a game which satisfies the parts of the game I truly wanted to play. Also, I'm sorry if I did misunderstand what you wrote. If I have please just ignore my essay!

Ummm, well if you heal an undead then they’ll suffer more then die 😵‍💫. So if we heal Genshin then it will be killed again 😂!

Ahaha, in my eyes they are kicking since they are making the next areas. But depending on the use of "death" that could of happened at the start of the game (eg. endgame content) so I agree with ya x).

The thing is, Genshin did an "omni-pandering" : catering to a WIDE SPECTRUM of audience bolstered by the Covid buff... This include the normies who got nothing to do due to lockdown/quarantine and got dispensable incomes whose very first gacha game is Genshin... These paying normies/casuals make up the bulk of Genshin's playerbase, not the vocal, sweaty malding hardcore gamer ones... Heck, I've known many AR 60 players who DO NOT EVEN TOUCH SPIRAL ABYSS... Do you want to know what they do? They take pictures and just chat in-game or listen to ingame OSTs! And that is the problem : MAKE A GAME FOR EVERYONE AND THAT GAME WILL BE FOR NO ONE... It is inevitable at this point : Hardcore malding skill elitist players will go to WuWa while the mintpicking casuals will stay in Genshin (especially due to sunk cost fallacy) or there would be players who will play both... With the endless drama involving WuWa (or any other game) and Genshin, I lost all hope of a peaceful coexistence in the Open World gacha gaming community... With that said, I just hope Azur Promilia won't be included in this bloodbath...

Honestly I'm not so in sync with any drama happening right now o.0. I just saw a few posts about WuW and then I just made this of my OP. I think I 100% am classed in the tryhard category and all you said makes sense. But unlike others in this case, I already want both games to be great x). Thanks for watching also :)

Fine video! I will say if Wuthering does what Genshin doesn’t then they’ll over the course of time take some dedicated players *Cough* especially money spenders but we’ll wait! Also I’m in it for Wuthering’s fan service hehe 😉! The ladies are fine and jiggle physics are much appreciated so of course MONEY 💰! Also your voice is low due to the music so I couldn’t hear ya too well.

I'll definitely make sure the music isn't overbearing next time thanks for letting me know! And yeah I also have the belief that over time Wuthering Waves will become good, I just hope it doesn't fall into the pitfall shown by Tower Of Fantasy. Genshin to me character wise felt a little more "kid friendly" but then I look at HSR, WuW and I see them more adult like. I'm sure it's down to the artistic approach but I'm dumb in that area so have no idea what it is. Either way, thanks for watching :).

Tower of fantasy apparently did things better than Genshin, where is that game now, like Genshin or not it's the open world Gatcha template, the same way wow is the MMORPG template, these games cannot be killed, the only way Genshin will bleed players is if they say the servers are going offline, whales who have dumped money into Genshin won't leave at this point.
