A slight correction in my opinion, the V shaped sound is more for the mainstream audience, audiophiles prefer more of a flat sound signature.

Well, that's a great point you make, but you will be surprised to know that audiophiles also love V-shaped IEM. Although having said that audiophiles usually have a collection, so a bit of everything is included in that collection!

I like a tuning which i call the W tuning, it's like a U shape tuning with an emphasize at midrange.

@@headphone_zone people say that it's sounds like a flat tuning, which it doesn't, very few headphones have this tuning. To me, it sounds super natural. Vocal is more forward, and the bass with the treble doesn't get jammed into the mids, perfect separation and clarity.

Hey there, a U-Shaped sound signature means it has an elevated bass and treble response, while the midrange is slightly recessed (not as much as a V-Shaped sound signature).

I think V-shaped audio is good for headphones, while a A-shaped (with emphasis on the mids) is good for speaker's.
