I may have missed where she covered this, it if you’re staying at a Disney resort, the magic band is included and will be mailed to you, so you don’t HAVE to buy one, but they have some really cute specialty ones for sale in the parks and hotels. Cast members will gladly help you set them up when you buy them.

Just know not all of these hotels are Disney friendly neighbor where you get the same perks as the Disney Resort like magic hours and 60 days advance fast past booking. Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort one of the approved hotel by Disney where you get all the same perks but cost way less.

i have some questions. it is true that you can buy these bands even though you're not staying in a Disney resort hotel? 2. for using as fast-passes, do you just scan them on the "fast pass" mickey sensor at the ride and walk on down the fast pass line to the ride? or do you scan them and get times on your phone to go back? 3. what if your phone dies how do you find out your fast pass times? 4. can you use this band to scan and have fast pass tickets come out with return times on them like it would be scanning your ticket in disney land? 5. these can be used at all parks, yes?

1. Yea! You can order them online and connect them to the card ticket you will get in the mail if you choose not to stay at a resort. (I would call Disney if you need more info) 2. You will scan your magic band and your fast pass will come up on the persons screen and you will walk right in. 3. There are kiosks around the park where you can check your fast pass times and change them. 4. There are no more paper fastpasses. The magic bands are all you need. Just scan and walk right in. 5. Yes, they work for all parks, but fastpasses are limited to three a day even if you park hop.

Alyssa Summers You need to set up your fast pass selection first either at a kiosk or on the my Disney experience website then arrive at the specified time and scan your band. Also your not limited to just 3 a day, you can only book your first three in 1 go but when you have used them you can select 1 per hour after that.

im confused. i just reserved my trip on Disney Website for March,2016 (3 weeks from now) and I didnt have to link or program anything or input any codes. I just reserved ny vacation package and it was all done for me, and the info was already in. "My Disney Experience" online. All I did was downloads the app so i can access it on my phone. plus the magic bands are already on their way in the mail. this video must be for ppl who don't reserve through Disneys website...right?

+Palidor19 Currently, there are no plans to make the MagicBand payment service available to available passholders. It is a service designed for Disney hotel guests only.

We purchased magic bands and are not staying at a hotel. All you have to do is connect your magic band to your ticket. There should be a little booklet attached to take you through the steps (if you order online). However, you cannot connect it to a credit card if you don't stay at a resort. But it can be your ticket to the park and fast passes.

The MagicBand is optional and not required, but a fun feature and allows you to wear the park admission ticket on their wrist. For each admission ticket purchased, you can purchase a MagicBand for each member in your party to link on the StartYourDisneyExperience.com website.

Yes. You can manage multiple MagicBands through the My Disney Experience App. However, all active MagicBands or cards assigned to a person have access to the benefits and entitlements for that person. Adding a new MagicBand or card does not add new entitlements, such as additional theme park admissions.

Sign up for a Disney account at disneyworld.disney.go.com. You can get magic bands for as many people in your family as you want when planning a trip. Everyone gets to pick their own color and get their name engraved inside the band. If you choose not to stay at a Disney hotel, you can purchase your band online or at the park and they can link it at the register to your account or you can link it the way she showed you in the video. :)

You are assuming that the My Disney Experience app will work, which most of the time, it doesn’t on my and my daughter’s iPhone 6s and 6 plus! There are thousands of Disney guests that have this phone and the MDE app does not work most of the time. Since everything is centered around the MDE app, you are basically sh_t out of luck booking Fastpasses and the rest. Shame on Disney for not resolving this problem. They are WELL aware that they have a problem as thousands have complained about it. No fix as of February 2019!

ok easy...first enter to www.reserveorlando.com but between 2pm and 4:58 with 23 seconds only on Mondays before a rainly day. after that call your travel agent and ask for a clue, then at 5:46pm go to your pc and enter to www.easydisney.com and you will receive an email of Mickey at 233pm on Thursday. Then separate your pages and insert a video on youtube. also they send you a gift with the code that you have to enter to your facebook account. Finally enter to mydisneyexperience.coM on Wednesday and send the first code that your travel agent give to you. Go to any Disney store in the parks and ask for Jenny she will give you the bracelet and VOILA!!! Pd remember to travel in American Airlines in order to complete your bracelet procedure. EASY!!!
