Understanding Firebase Security Rules

In this video, we'll be discussing the Firebase security rules of the real-time database and how to configure it. To test out the rules we learn, we'll be using Unity and the rules playground. But the rules are universal and will work the same for apps and websites as well.

Hi friends, how do you secure data as follows. I have notes product:{ data1: { idMaker: 123abc, .... }, data2: { idMaker: 123abc, .. }, ... } .What I want: all users can set() provided it has child: "name". and only users whose idUser is the same as idMaker can delete. please answer

Can i write just read true and write true? Is it ok? Since i dont care who want to accsess my db

You can for testing but in production you wouldn't want unauthorised party to manipulate your database and therefore you'd need to change that. Especially write permission can give attackers the opportunity to modify or even flood your database with in best case scenario unwanted information and in worst case scenario malicious data. Hope that clears it.
