Great explanation - I always have to reread the instructions for my kiln every time I fire - I guess if I fired more often I would remember it! I have a bead kiln that I never have fired! I always use the bigger one! Thanks for all the cheat sheets - excellent information!

This is a brilliant video and an excellent presentation; I learned a lot! I never knew that as soon as possible ASAP meant the kiln was off. I would love a video called "1300-1600" that explains what is happening to the glass at certain temperatures. I understand 1425 is not as hot as 1480. Why would I choose one or the other? Again, it melts glass, but why use a higher temperature? I am a member.
