UNDERSTANDING LITERATURE LECTURE - The Humors

To understand classic literature and classic books it is useful to understand methods and devices that are used by authors.
In this episode we are going to look at a method characterization called The Humors. This method of writing characters is a joy to get into and is commonly used in the writing of satirical works. The reason is made clear in the video.
As, in my opinion, Charles Dickens is one of the best writers of Humors, this video predominantly focuses on Dickens characters as examples.
