It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 4 years and there is still no treatment, even no biomarkers found while long Covid patients are suffering every day

Yeah as far as long covid as an umbrella term is concerned, I don't believe they have found any specific biomarkers, however, depending on how your long covid is manifesting, they have found biomarkers for determining certain things like if it has caused you endothelial dysfunction or damage to different organs. Then depending on how you're being affected, they have to figure out how to treat that. But a lot of the things LC causes can be difficult to diagnose...it just sucks😔 like me for example, I have all the aches and am positive for anti CCP which is indicative of RA, BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY SWELLING, AND ALL MY INFLAMMATORY MARKERS LIKE ERYTHROCYTE SEDIMENTATION RATE AND C-REACTIVE PROTEIN, THEY'RE ALL NEGATIVE. SO HOW CAN I HAVE AN INFLAMMATORY DISEASE YET NOT HAVE ANY INFLAMMATORY MARKERS? Sorry about all caps, I'm not yelling, just made a keyboard mistake.. but yeah, for me I do have a high d-dimer, higher than it was a year ago with the second covid exposure, which the long covid clinic dr at Stanford told me that d Dimer is actually an indicator of inflammation, so for me it looks like my problem may be endothelial dysfunction, but I am far away from getting any type of an actual diagnosis for it or treatment for it so I'm just trying to do whats under my control, like finding supplements that helps vasoconstriction as that is an issue with endothelial dysfunction, and just trying to be as healthy as I can. I was totally healthy before this fiasco. Hiking three times a week, mountain biking, even skateboarding at almost 48, really healthy and clean diet... So there wasn't much of a difference I could make with my diet, I was already eating well. But the problem is, now I have chronic fatigue/ PEM so I am currently unable to add exercise back into my life so what am I going to do, just sit around and get fat and unhealthier? This is such a screwed thing for all of us!😢

That is because the financing is going to Israel and Ukraine. LC sufferers, Please hold on for eternity. The talks about research etc are empty words. It is psyop at this point. Waiting 4 years for my general doc to even admit LC exist is frightening at best. The Healthcare is lost in the dark and logic thinking have left the building.

There is so much good information out now about long covid, I was shocked to see a vague video like this was from 2023 rather than 2021. I’ve had long covid for three years. This video greatly under represents the severity of it as well as excluding common symptoms like POTS, small fiber neuropathy, hearing loss, vertigo, and more. People can’t work and are financially devastated. The comments about who is vulnerable and at risk demonstrate a lack of research. This video is beyond disappointing.

Yes, there is so much good information out there, what I would like to see more is talk about epigenetics, how lifestyle triggers changes in gene expression

Ugh. 2 years of long covid. It is a nightmare that i wish on no one. The fatigue and brain fog are the worst for me. I keep praying for a resolution of some type, but I must admit that im starting to give up.

One key factor that can help is trying to OPTIMIZE SLEEP HABITS. The correlation with most Long COVID symptoms is strong. Lack of sleep worsens all symptoms. And good to remember how lack of sleep affects EPIGENETICS, which is the way HOW our genes behave. So: TRY TO SLEEP WELL!

Did we know at what tissue temperature did SARS COV2 better replicate ? Why ? Because at TWiV 659 at min29 virologist Christian Drosten suggest that SARS COV2 better replicate at very low tissue temperature. Did high body temperature protect against SARS COV2 infection ?
