Marginalisation mean that to be forced to occupy the side of the things, not to be at the center of the things becoz of their diff. languages, diff custom,religion, caste, poorness. Social marginasation means to marginalised in a sociaty, consider them as alow class people and not share the resouces with them equaly. they seem to be marginalised becoz they are not educated , not have good health , not have any political support etc. in this marginasation grp there are more SC/ST are found , they are consider as low class .🙂

Q. Equality is a value of right? Ans: Article 14-18 deals with the term Equality which is one of our fundamental right given in our Indian constitution (part 3 ). It was mentioned that no one is discriminated on the basis of caste ,race,gender, or religion. If anyone in the country feels that their right is violated then he /she can appeal to the court.

By the mean of equity is to provide every one same amount of resources, equal opportunity and to get treated equally.But due to dominance of some society over the period of time there is huge gap is developed between different communities. To overcome this problem our constitution provides us many rights and law such as right to equality, equality before law etc. Providing everyone same starting line is not the correct solution as there are communities which do not have enough resources to reach at the starting line therefore our government form some reservations and schemes such as manrega to upliftment of poor community, reservations in government job and political seats to increase the praticipation of such backward communities with all this we can conclude that equality is not our right but an ethical value as well.

Equality holds various aspects in live hood, political, social and economic conditions. Indian Preamble - "Equality of Status and Opportunity". Constitution deals with fundamental rights (article 12-35) include Equality (article 14-18). French Revolution, 1789 - slogan - Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. Equality plays vital role in enjoying life. Education, health facilities, dignity plays a major role in social equality. Mahatma Gandhi's though was to get political equality first before social equality, while Dr. BR Ambedkar was seeking for social equality first as he was from Mahar cast who faced lot of discriminations in life. Though Mahatma Gandhi was not against social equality he mentioned about No caste system, abolishing backward practices in his Young India 1931. He also added political thought of discrimination on voting rights, where only rich class, landlords, & educated peoples had the right to vote or involve in the government, Gov of India act (1919). continuous efforts were done to remove caste rigidity, abolish untouchability practice, etc. Dignity is thought of thinking oneself and others as worthy of self-respect. "It is disgraceful to live at the cost of one's self-respect" - Dr BR Ambedkar. Article 39 DPSP of Indian constitution talks about Economic Justice. Some articles and amendments greatly deal with equality in India Article -14, Equality before law & Equal protection of law Article -15, No discrimination on grounds of race, religion, caste, gender and place of birth Article -16, Equal opportunity of employment Article -17, Abolished Untouchability & punishable offence Article -18, State restriction to confer title 61st amendment (1988) -Reduced the age for right to vote from 21 years to 18 years (Universal Adult Franchise)
