+DM Astrology @Dharmesh sir, in one of your earlier videos, you said that ASPECTS, CONJUCTIONS, should not be taken in navamsa chart as for every 40 degrees there is conjunction. But here in this video, in the example 1 chart, you said in Navamsa Saturn is aspecting mercury in 12 house. Are conjunctions and aspects valid in divisional charts?

Divisional charts are nothing but more analytical tools. It studies how deep is the conjunction because if two planets are within 3.20 deg proximity then mostly they will be together in Navamsa (and most probably in D10 too). Aspects are seen only in D1, but if it is getting aspected in in D9 or D10 too then we can say that the aspect is very significant. It can be compared to tight conjunction or status of being Vargottama. Divisional charts are mathematical tools or say discretization of our lagna chart. Divisional charts have signs, but they don't have any degrees or nakshatras, so ideally they should not be debilitated or exalted in divisional charts but we see the strength of planets based on D9 & D10. Now lets do some maths. A Navamsa division is of 3.20 degree or say 12 signs complete Navamsa cycle in 40 degrees (or 3 Nakshatras), Saturn's 3rd aspect is 3 signs of 90 degrees, 7th aspect is 210 degrees & 10th aspect is 300 degrees. Now in the given example Saturn is 9Sc34, while Mercury is 3Aq41, this means Saturn = 219.34 deg = (219.34/40) ==> remainder = 19.34 degrees. Again dividing it into Navamsa divisions ==> 19.34/3.2 = 5.8 This means Saturn is in 6th sign or Virgo Similarly Mercury = 303.41 deg = (303.41/40) ==> remainder = 23.41 degrees, further ==> 23.42/3.2 = 7.3. This means Mercury is in 8th sign or Scorpio. So here Saturn is naturally aspecting Mercury. Alternatively 303.41-219.34 = 84.07 and this is in the aspecting range of 90 degrees. Here the things to note is that Mercury can in within 60 degree to 90 degree of Saturn to have its 3rd aspect, but aspect is effective only when it is within 80-100 degrees. You can consider Mercury at 95 degrees (i.e. in 4th house) to have more effect than Mercury at 70 degrees fro Saturn. Here I used some concepts of Western astrology too.

In South India, only Navmansh or D9 chart is considered because that is what a person would be. Even degrees are there in Navmansh & same principles in terms of conjunctions, aspects etc. are applicable in Navamsa chart too.

Relationship of Venus & Mars is good. Its conjunction gives intense intensity & passionate chemistry, but along with that there could be constant power struggle and also possibly violence. Ideally Ve & Mars should be opposing each other to maintain a balance and in each others sign (parivartan), or even in each other's sign of exaltation. Venus is best friend of Saturn so will do good in Capricorn, while Mars is very good friend of Jupiter, so will do good in Pisces. But more than Venus and Mars whe should check for Rahu & Ketu to check if we have a karmic relationship and see if the relationship will last long or is just a temporary phase.

Aquarius is the sign of Rahu along with Saturn, so Rahu become powerful in Aquarius. Now Rahu & Ketu are considered as outcasts in Vedic mythology, this is because only they are Danavs while all other planets are Devas (including Saturn, but he is given step treatment because Sun considers him to be his illegitimate child). Since Rahu & Ketu are outcasts or outsiders, so they are represents foreigners or someone who is other to us. They can be socially, culturally, religiously, caste wise or country wise different people. During olden times there was not much intermixing of castes, so spouse of different caste could be due to Rahu. These days barrier of religion & caste is not very strong, but Rahu effect can be seen if spouse if a foreigner (or even of different religion). Ketu is a spiritual planet holding many secrets. The house where Ketu sits was the strongest house in the past life, so in this life there is not much need of that thing. Here Ketu can give result in two ways or say there can be two interpretations if Ketu is in 7H. Ketu can make you such that you are unable to approach or maintain long term relationship. Thus denying us from pleasure of being in relationship. Ketu is a constant critic and may make you caustic & sarcastic which can result in breakage. Other than that Ketu is the planet of detachment & diffusion, so it detaches itself from relationship too. The other effect of Ketu is that since you had abundant pleasure of 7H in your past life that in this life you become like a master in approaching relationship. These people can beat any PUA handsdown, but there is an constant dissatisfaction and detachment in a relationship. These people cannot be bonded to someone or somebody for long time & hence they don't get pleasure of 7H despite being in many relationships. Other than that Ketu is very spiritual, so it can be a asexual marriage or a social marriage. Ketu in 7H does not needs sex for long and longs to attain spirituality. Alternatively, since Rahu is in the Lagna, so their personality is like Rahu. Rahu is an illusionist, it is the deceiver, it is the cheater, it is not what it says. Rahu can pretend to be someone, but not for long. Well there can be many many meanings of Rahu & Ketu, they are simply amazing.

Some enlightened gurus and saints say astrology is not a certain thing, its just 20% of what there is. People can change their life paths through taking decisions and their karma. Nopes, astrology doesn't work that way. Our life is a mixture of destiny and karmas. Our destiny is based on our previous karmas known as Sanchit Karmas, but most things are based on instant karmas. If nobody is at home, and you feel hungry then you will cook. That action and result is based on instant karma, but if you are struck in a situation like flood or famine and are hungry since many days then that is destiny. The things or circumstances over which we have no control is called destiny and the situations which have resulted based on our decision are our karmas (or say instant karmas). In life there is always a choice, and often there are many choices, but all choices are constrained Suppose House X gives results from 1 to 9, while it has planet A which can give results a,b,c,d....so you will have to choose between a1/a2/a3....a9/b1/b2/b3.....b9/.....d9. Many times things can get too complicated and can get confusing and we think that all our choices lead to the same end. Suppose in this year you are destined to meet a girl, then it depends on you of how you meet her. You can meet her at a bus stop, in a party, you approach a girl or meet her online or even she can accidentally visit your home, many things can happen in between depending on the situation. You can think of destiny as a skeleton, while our karmas as the flesh in between. Skeletal structure is predestined, but the flesh on it depends on us. We can have six packs or we can have beer belly, that depends on us which are our actions. Hope this clears the doubt.

I would say that at the time of birth your each n every movement is decided based on your past birth karmas .That is why you born at that particular time and date.These activities can not be changed until you change time of your horoscope.Yes it can only be changed to the extent based on bhavas based rashi like movable or dual sign . In Fixed sign it can not be changed and things will happen for sure .The only thing is that you need to have the accuracy of timing (This can be done by your physical and other things verification . Like you are influenced by 7 astrological factors - Physical health mental health, Spiritual health , Emotional health ,Planetary health , Environmental health and Karmic health) You can initiate any karma when planets will prompt you to do so,else you cant.
