Dr Saeed is always so gentle when handling and examining the sick and injured dogs. This particular dog looks so so sad. His body language is very sad. I wish I could hug him and talk softly to him. Thank you wonderful wonderful Vafa! 🙏🏼🙌🏼♥️.

Im not sure if you are aware of another yt rescue channel called Sezar sanctuary. Owned by Mr Hosein Mohamadi , (he is an Iranian gentleman too) he just recently received advert monetisation after nine years on yt! A long time to wait. I hope you don’t have to wait that long😢. Dear friend, the issue of animal welfare in Iran is very chaotic and unregulated because we don’t have animal protection laws. This allows anyone to create staged videos with injured animals, pretending to help them, and then attract an emotional audience who follows them and donates. This man started a few years ago by filming and supposedly rescuing animals. He quickly gained followers by appearing on camera. He was able to use donations to renovate his home, build a large veterinary clinic, and even open a pet food factory-all funded by supporters. But everything is registered in his name, and now he doesn’t even admit animals from his city to the clinic. The clinic was initially meant to serve stray animals from his city of residence, Rasht, but we see calls for animal rescues in Rasht, and when ask them to take the animals to him, they say he won’t accept them. People in that area generally don’t trust him. Meanwhile, donations that should go to places with a real need, are actively working, and have many animals, like Vafa Shelter, are constantly redirected to those who draw donations through staging and showmanship. I urge animal lovers to carefully choose and follow those who genuinely support animals. Even liking or watching their videos is a form of support for them.

Dear Lillian, our challenges are numerous. Not only must we strive to save dogs and fight through all the difficulties, but we also have to compete with individuals who merely appear to be supporters. If ten people want to donate to animals, eight of them are drawn to those who play on their emotions, rather than to us, who show things as they truly are. At Vafa Shelter, you see dogs that have been with us for over ten years, whereas in many other places, even the fate of a dog supposedly rescued just a few weeks ago remains unknown. Animal lovers need to pay close attention to these realities before deciding whom to support and avoid misguided donations that make things harder for those working as a dedicated team, not individually, and with genuine effort.

I admire and respect the great love they have for their beautiful animals and hard-work to improve the shelter. The trees and pools with toys, the dedicated enclosure for dogs with disabilities. The enclosures for traumatised dogs , for rehabilitating and recovery. The TNR campaigns, Dr gentle Saeed, so many things to respect about wonderful wonderful Vafa!
