What if a shareholder owns 1/3 of the shares in a private company but otherwise has nothing to do with it? Will they receive a third of the profit if the company was liquidated?

This would depend on the particulars assigned to the shares. If we assume there is only one share class, then the shareholder with 1/3 would receive 1/3 of the profit.

@@musicjunk8266 In which case, you will need to establish if there are differences in profit distribution. If there isn't a difference, then the share will still be equal.

Do you provide business bank account on international package?
@yourcompanyformationsltd
@yourcompanyformationsltd Жыл бұрын
We do have some options for international clients. However, it's very important to understand that it is down to the bank and its latest acceptance policies as to whether or not you will be accepted. Currently, over 85% of international clients who apply for a bank account get accepted. If you purchase a package from us, you will be presented with the most relevant banking options after payment, you can then proceed to apply to the chosen bank.

Any debts in the company will be owed by the Company not an officer, this comes under the "limited liability" protection offered by a company. The officers of a company will be responsible for the running of the company.
