I wonder if an entity on the island just stupidly misinterpreted the indications of trichinosis, when undercooked wild game pork grows worms called Trichinella spiralis and then interpreted that as the thing he cannot tell the others about because it would cause them to panic about feeling sick as they all ate some and blame each other and revenge murder there frustrations.

This is a good quick analysis, especially in regard to the religious symbolism ascribed to the ocean, the beach, and Simon. But I'd love to see you do a follow-up video delving more deeply into the communist undertones and breakdown of democracy etc.. Golding was making a loud statement about government here. A number of characters, places, events, and objects symbolize multiple aspects of 20th century western history. Fire, for instance, is also the nuclear bomb. More commentary on that angle please! Very well put together I enjoyed this thoroughly.

I'm sorry I didn't see your question about why Lord of the Flies is so related to the Bible sooner. Many writers, even those who are not Christians, find Christian ideas interesting. Those who grow up in Christian or formerly Christian countries may unconsciously use ideas from the Bible. Writers tend to use familiar ideas to explore why things happen. Why are humans cruel to each other? Why can't people be civil? If you look at religions in the world, you see that they answer questions about human behavior and about humans' place in the universe.
