I have yet to see an astrologer who would explain the 6th house as a highly psychological house. It is the house of enemies, difficulty and disease. But who are our enemies? It's us! Only ourselves. It's our pre-conditioning, patterns of thinking and behaviour and therefore those who have a prominent 6th house will be drawn by life circumstances to work a lot with their own inner world, their psyche to increase their awareness to overcome those "enemies", to shed a light and get out of the prison of unconscious. Plato talks about the cave and everything we see is just a reflection of things,not the real world. Imo the 6th house deals with projections of our shadows onto others (and theirs onto us). We have to learn about our shadow (our enemy). People with 9th house lord in the 6th house will be drawn to psychology, yoga, counselling and helping themselves through helping others. I know what I'm talking about. My Jupiter in Pushya is a lord of the 9th and the 2nd. It is placed in the 6th house. My Jupiter is even more prominent as it's my Atmakaraka's nakshatra's lord. Helping others brings a lot of value to me but I can only help when I learn how to take a good self-care of myself through diet (2nd house - Sun, Moon, Mercury - food allergies btw), yoga practice and working on my awareness etc. Vedic astrology is amazing but would like to see more astrologers understanding the 6th house as a house of purity (Virgo) and again what is purity? It's recognising our shadows and all the parts of us to increase awareness. 6th house is a house of awareness in that sense.

That actually depends on who's chart you are looking at or who you are talking to. There are people in the world that don't want actual biological kids. Or they have kids and find that it is not a joy but a duty. This can also be seen in their charts.

Yes the universe really works through you and your surroundings. for example you said “welcome to the house of pain” and I really felt like the universe spoke through you without you realizing it because I feel like that is kind of what 6 house does , it deals with the pain of everyday life . I've Saturn placed in the 6th house of my D9 chart in virgo rashi. Same here, Libra ascendant, Sun, Saturn, Venus and Ketu in 6th house... It's been rough. Enemies, underpaid at jobs, or not paid at all, always having to leave, to escape from enemies... The main theme here is being unappreciated. Health wise it's also not the best placement, you either procrastinate or get easily sick. You also get super sensitive to words, to smells, to food, to sickness.

I don't know anything about Saturn but at least in the mythology Saturn mother was Rude after the death of sun. Which saturn did at the time of killing Sandhya so saturn childhood was not rough with mother. But with stepmother Step Brother &mostly higher-level dev like indra. I have a very complected relation with my Mother, I am the youngest born of the family. I had to struggle all through my life and still struggling too for even a simple thing like glass of water. I'm sorry to hear that. It all depends on what houses it rules in your chart. As it is your ascendant lord, you have to work hard for everything. As you know Saturn will not give anything easily unless until it's in good dignity. Things would have been different for you if Mars is your ascendant lord and placed in 6th. You would fight for everything and very competitive (may affect the health of the person though). But in case of Saturn, it will give you frustration. For me, it rules 8th and 9th houses and placed in 6th. It's good for me actually as it rules the 8th house. My Mercury mahadasha going to start for me this month. So I can say it was an average dasha for me. Not much luck as it rules my 9th house too.
