Wow ! Steve was able to babble on for over six minutes and did not use a single scripture to support his claims. He even admitted that this teaching was promulgated at a later post-Apostolic Church Council and further talked about the debate continuing in the fifth and sixth centuries. Personally, I would rather derive my beliefs from sacred scripture and not from post-Apostolic Church Fathers, schooled in neo--platonism , applying pagan Greek philosophy to the word of God.

Jesus Christ's God was not a three person being. The only God is Jesus Christ's God and there is no other.

Hello Nobody goes around saying “God became a man” Or “Jesus is fully God and fully man” Jesus is the Messiah The Son of God The Son of David The Son of man The man God has chosen to be his anointed king The man God will judge the world through The man God raised from the dead Jesus will return and rule the nations with believers in the kingdom of God on the earth Jesus has a God There is no triune god in scripture Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. - Acts 3 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him. 14 But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you, 15 and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. Notice Jesus is NOT the God of Abraham

I might be wrong, but I think you may be suggesting Steve has it wrong and that this man made doctrine is unscriptural.

@@gerryquinn5578 Hello If you’re referring to “fully God and fully man” them yes That’s not found anywhere in scripture And really basically wasn’t hammered out until 451 AD

@@mitchellc4 : My understanding is that the confession of faith found in the gospels is : "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.". The claim that he was the promised Messiah/ Christ was a big deal to the Jews. The claim that he had been resurrected and exalted to the right hand of God in heaven would have made him a god in the Greco-Roman world..But it never made him YHWH.

@@gerryquinn5578 Hello Gerry Thanks for responding! Yes the Messiah is not YHVH The Messiah is the man anointed by YHVH And exalted to God’s right hand over everything, who will come back and rule the nations! Jesus has a God, YHVH is his God
