Someone once described playing a healer's playstyle as "crisis management." The Finals is no exception.

Amazing video as always♥️ I forgot to tell this in my HeavyHeavyMedium strat video but if you are the only healer in your team and don't have good internet then don't use heal beam, let someone else use it. There is a bug in-game which basically doesn't allow you to use the heal beam at all, this bug has existed since season 1

Yea I dunno why people say: 'remove heal beam because it's skillless'. Excuse moi? This game tackled the healer class perfectly. Juggling healing and shooting is the reason I'm a medium main.

Holy goodness, I am consistently in awe at the smaller creators for The Finals! I find these videos in my suggested feed, and I go without clicking them for a while because I see the low view-count, but honestly I'm starting to realize that view-count doesn't really dictate the quality of the video at all. I have always used either the dematerializer or the turret when going medium, as they were more in sync with my play style than the healing gun. That was, until I started playing World Tour with my friends as triple healers, then my way of playing medium as a whole changed.

When I think of a support, I think of any role that is not an Offender role. The point of a lot of games is to deal damage, and other roles are there to help and are even pivotal depending on the game, for helping to maximize damage an therefore defeating the enemy. Btw my favorite class and main is Medic from Team Fortress 2.

Speaking of medium things, the reshaper is severely underrated. Say goodbye to turrets, mines, grenades, barricades, and even jump pads.

Amazing video production! I can feel the LazyPurple vibes oozing from it. I'm guessing you're using Blender for the animated scenes (which are awesome btw!). Here's some tips to improve your 3D style. - I noticed all your models are shaded flat, I would suggest selecting Shade Smooth or Shade Auto-Smooth on models with curved surfaces to make then smooth and slippery looking. - Adding a subtle Bevel modifier on models like weapons and gadgets will add a nice touch to the edges! I would recommend from Top to Bottom - 1. Subdivision Surface 2. Bevel (Segment 2-4 is good enough usually) 3. Weighted Normal (This works with auto-smooth and fixes your normals) - Since you're using EEVEE, learn using Irradiance Volume, it can make your renders look as good as cycles! Very hyped to see you grow, good luck!

nice video mate, great explanations, support med is my favourite role in this game bc i came from maining Ana and Baptiste in overwatch, switching between shooting and healing is a very enjoyable game play loop for me. There’s a lot of things to track as a medic, you need to constantly check the positioning of your teammates to determine how much damage they will take, and their utilities, therefore decide on who to heal, and do damage whenever you’re certain no one would die, always make sure to not take too much damage. Class priority healing is very situational, usually id heal a light first bc the heal is a much larger percentage of their overall health compared to a medium or heavy, and if i’m confident in the light’s capabilities ofc. One tip with the healing beam, when you’re healing you can’t sprint, but you can slide, so use that to reposition slightly, it really helps you take less damage. But currently this meta is a big pain in the back, and the job of the medium is pretty much heal bot and provide movement to the 2 heavies, unfortunately due to the fact that heavies do more sustained damage and medium just isn’t quite there when facing off against more than 1 medium or heavy at the moment. I also flank a lot with the beam in pubs, definitely should only do that with a demat, but personally i get slightly triggered when i see a teammate low health and i can’t heal them, so i just kept the beam 😂

Would say healing light takes priority. They only have 150 health, so healing them takes far less time % than healing the other guy first. Also, in that fight demo with handler, keeping the high ground and shooting those guys probably would've netted the same or better result. Because handler could break los with the second medium, and the first one was out of ammo. Either way, it works out!

Healing beam carried me to diamond last season. Every match I picked healer med role. It was effective but bored me sometimes. I've not used it since then, using de-mat nowadays. It really frustrates me when I open a wall, I face with obstacles. I hope you make a video about de-mat. Your videos are way more creative and riveting than most of the content creators on yt.

oh also i'd love to see a vid on the light's grapple...the semi-long cooldown on it makes it just seem kinda worse compared to the dash except for longer range weapons, idk if it could be used as well with dagger or throwing knives or anything like that, so i'd wanna see your thoughts if you use it since you mentioned how its slept on

a minor point but gas was changed not too long ago so that it's damage ticks ramp up, basically the longer you stay in it the more damage you take and it does it pretty quickly, it's so mediums can't just outheal gas thats on a cashout for free unless the gas runs out mid way through or you have double mediguns on the stealer but I dont know how much longer you'll survive like that

this game changes how it works every 5 seconds. I think this is currently true though: a full health heavy can run onto the point through gas and cap, provided he has healing the whole time.

The 1887 shotgun is great at carrying though, honestly it’s a skill check how reliant on your team you are running heals. I always get 4-8k support score with competent teammates, but if they’re bad I can lead and carry with shotgun and then retreat back to my team and heal. Of course it’s a bit harder to carry without a specialization, but even these matches I get good value from the heal beam.

you had a defib in that first example, you COULD have just dove in and did a slide revive, with the slots adding some cover, but we cant see if that would have worked out better, so it will forever remain a mystery
