The meaning of the proverbs can express what is happening in Nigeria presently. If she's the husband, so if she has a wife or has undertaken a ceremony to 'become' a man by title (in some places choosing to do one requires the other). But not if she has a living husband or lives with her father so it's very rare.

Tremendous content and coverage here, but the parts about akwa ete nearly sounds like string theory and the projection of ekili as astral projections sounds New Age to me. Are there people who are still well knowledgeable about these arts? Dibias were known to travel both physically and spiritually (not necessarily in astral realm), in physical travel, they would be seen as blinking light (bad ones -- probably prohibited art could also transform to animals), they could project themselves to the consciousness of the intended recipient to pass a message which will result in the intended person seeing a trance.
