Understanding the Priestly Ordination Ceremony

This month, 12 men from various walks of life and who entered the Society of Jesus over a decade ago were ordained as priests. Following ordination, these new priests will serve in parishes and teach in Jesuit universities, among other assignments.
Last year, we followed Jesuit Father Radmar Jao on his own journey to ordination. Now, Fr. Jao walks us through an ordination ceremony for three of his fellow Jesuits-Jesuit Fathers Christopher Duffy, Richard Magner and Trung Pham-which took place June 9 at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

As God recorded in Matthew chapter 7 KJV, "Enter ye in through the strait gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth unto destruction and many there be that go in thereat. Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth unto life and few there ve that find it." Jesus said, " Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish." & "Unless a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God." I'd like all Jesuits to take a long hard look at these passages I posted. Think about what it says carefully and when you are ready make a personal, private prayer to Christ and ask to be forgiven. Only if you have it in your heart to do so combined with the the belief that Christ's the righteousness and his resurrection is the only way you can by grace through faith receive eternal life. Confessing to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner.

When a Priest is ordained , from where or whom ,do the powers come from , that are bestowed up the Priest ?

For whatever reason, the video skips the actual ordination (odd, considering that is the whole point of the video). The priest is ordained by the Bishop, by the laying on of hands. The power comes from the Bishop, which, through apostolic succession, have received their power through their consecration as Bishops through the Pope, who traces his power to due so all the way back to Peter, the first Pope, who received the power directly from Christ.

The Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit, if many churches are correct. If many churches are correct, The Trinity is a Family-- two Parents and a Progeny, just like a human family. (Humans are made in the "image" and "likeness" of God according to Genesis 1:26) In the Book of Job which is part of the bible,the Lord is compared to a father and also a mother with a womb. "From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens"--Job 38:29. Because God can also be thought of like a mother (Isaiah 42:14,Isaiah 66:13,Matthew 23:37), all three roles (father,mother,progeny) in a basic human family are filled in the Trinity. Saying that the "Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit" is simply another way of saying that the Holy Spirit "proceeds from the Father and the Son" which has been official Catholic Church teaching for centuries. According to the Catholic Church, the Son is begotten from the Father. If this is true, the Father is the Father (Parent) of the Son. According to the Church, the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.If this is true, the Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit. According to the "Catechism of the Catholic Church" paragraph 264, "The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father as the first principle and...from the communion of both the Father and the Son" Of course, the scriptures are vague if the Holy Spirit is the 3rd or 2nd Person of the Trinity--whichever of these is true,the First Person and the Second Person may be the Parents of the Third.
